Apple TV+ Launched For Rs 99/Month In India; Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hotstar In Trouble?

This being said, it makes our case even more interesting. Today, at its Special event, Apple finally announced plans and pricing of its new services, which it had given us a glimpse of at WWDC 2019. Its highly awaited Apple TV+ is finally starting since 1 November and will be available to users at just Rs 99 per month. That is right.
It will also unveil the latest version of the iPhone, known to have
a fully revamped triple-camera system.
Apple TV+ Subscription at Just Rs 99 Per Month
Well for starters, Apple TV+ is an ad-free on demand video subscription service that will feature Apple’s growing list of original TV shows and movies. It is a web television service announce by Apple Inc and shall be an exclusive way to view content.
At their Apple Special Event held on March 25 this year held at Steve Jobs Theatre, Apple had announced that it would soon be launching certain products and services. It has finally revealed today, the plans and pricing of these new products and services.
Apple TV+ will be available to users in India starting 1 November and will be available to users at just Rs 99 per month. It will be available via the Apple TV app that will offer a seven-day free trial starting from November 1. Once the 7 day trial is exhausted, it will automatically renew the service by charging Rs 99 per month.
Apple TV+ will also be available on the Apple TV app on select 2018, 2019 and newer Samsung smart TVs, and on Amazon Fire TV, LG, Roku, Sony and VIZIO platforms in the future.
A Strong Blow to Netflix and Amazon Prime
This is high traffic in terms of OTT platforms today. With the increasing reach of content and the massive effect it is having on multitudes, the quality of content and their originality matters a lot to viewers today. There is a strong competition in this field, with top players like Hotstar, Netflix and Amazon Prime trying to stand above one another at every point.
To top this off, Apple has now launched its Apple TV+. What we can expect before making any kinds of predicaments is that Apple has reflected a long history of providing quality products and services, even though they are worth a good amount.
This time however, launching shows and original content pieces on its video subscription platform, at just Rs 99 per month, it can be expected that if it is any good, Apple TV+ will have the capability to sweep the floor off from other OTT platforms.

Netflix offers a per month subscription of Rs 199, Amazon has a collective subscription charges of Rs 999 a year and now Apple+ brings it down to Rs 99 per month. This is for all the gamers out there. Apple Arcade is Apple’s gaming service that gets you access to the massive library of not just the usual games from the App Store, but special titles from the biggest names in gaming that will be exclusive to the Apple Arcade as well.
At the launch event, Apple showcased three original gaming titles from developers like Konami, Capcom and Annapurna Games. Arcade will be available from $4.99 per month in the US with the 1-month free trial.
