Samsung is making most of the news this week. From the first foldable smartphone to a new luxury W2019 flip phone, the South Korean tech giant has been in the news the whole week.

OnePlus 6T continues to trend, as a new Purple Thunder variant has been launched.

Honor claimed this that it sold over a million smartphones this festive season. Xiaomi and Realme have hiked the prices of its smartphones in the country while Samsung is trying to catch up.

Samsung Foldable Phone

Samsung unveiled the foldable display called Infinity Flex, its display for the future Samsung smartphones. Samsung showcased a 7-inch AMOLED panel which can be folded with secondary 4.3-inch AMOLED display on the outside. The secondary part can be used as a regular smartphone with the foldable display inside.

Samsung W2019 Flip Phone

Samsung has unveiled a new luxury W2019 flip phone with Snapdragon 845, AMOLED display and Galaxy S9 Plus cameras. The ultra-premium Samsung phone has some of the industry-best specs backed by the latest hardware and Bixby-powered software.

OnePlus 6T

OnePlus 6T is doing well, and the smartphone has been again in the news for its Thunder Purple edition. The new color variant is an addition to the existing OnePlus 6T Mirror and Midnight black colors. The gradient Thunder Purple edition is soon coming to India with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro

The Xiaomi flagship has been launched in the UK, which is hinting at a possible launch in India as well. The Chinese company recently entered the UK market with a host of new Xiaomi products including Mi Band 3, the budget Redmi 6A and Mi Electric Scooter.

Honor 8X

Honor claimed that it has sold 1 million smartphones in the country during Diwali, and Honor 8X has been one of the top-sold phones. Honor 8X was launched in the country recently at a starting price of Rs 14,999 backed by a dual-tone glass design, huge 6.5-inch notched display, Kirin 710 processor, dual cameras and much more.

Nokia 8.1

After Nokia 7.1 and 7.1 Plus, the next iteration Nokia 8.1 is being speculated to launch soon. The global variant of Nokia 8.1 is expected to be the Chinese Nokia X7. It will come with the latest Snapdragon 710 chipset paired with up to 6GB of RAM. Nokia 8.1 was spotted on Geekbench and then an NCC filing in Taiwan suggested at an imminent global launch.

Google Mid-Range Pixel Phones

The internet giant was in the news recently for its rumored mid-range Pixel phones. Bonito and Sargo, two code-named phones were spotted on ARCore AKP. The smartphones are said to be running Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box, with one having a Snapdragon 710 chipset.

Nokia 9

The next Nokia flagship is again in the news. A new Nokia 9 render is showing a penta-camera setup, 18:9 widescreen Quad HD+ display, 845 Snapdragon processor, Android One device with 9.0 Pie out of the box running stock Android. The devices is pitted to include 8GB of RAM, 128GB storage and a 4,150mAh battery.
