On the last of the year, we still have parties and smartphones ruling the internet. Thanks to the big sales from Flipkart and Amazon, we have some best-selling smartphones trending this week.

2018 has been a roller coaster ride for the brands, while budget phones ruled it again.

To start with, we have the new upcoming Realme A1, a budget smartphone. Then we have the new Poco F1 6GB Armoured Edition, upcoming Honor View 20 and much more. Let’s take a look at the top trending smartphones from this week.

Realme A1

Realme is working on another budget device after Realme U1. Dubbed as Realme A1, the budget smartphone will come with a similar design as Realme U1 and the Realme 2 Pro. Realme A1 will sport the same with water drop notch housing the selfie camera with a polycarbonate body on the out and a thin chin down under.

OnePlus 6T

OnePlus 6T has been trending since it received a temporary discount as a part of the year-end offer. The OnePlus 6T is now available at a cheaper price in the country for a limited period. The discount offer is valid till January 6, 2019, where you can enjoy a flat Rs 1,500 off on any OnePlus 6T variant with HDFC Bank cards.

Poco F2

Poco F2 has been spotted on Geekbench revealing some key specs. Sadly the smartphone will again sport the same chip: Snapdragon 845. The performance will see a slight jump over Poco F1 with a few hardware improvements. Poco F2 has scored 2321 on a single core and 7564 on multi-core, making it around 15 percent faster than the first Pocophone.

Nokia 9 PureView

The much-awaited Nokia 9 PureView go official will soon go official with a Penta camera setup. HMD Global teased its fans with a new picture showing its just a month away, hinting at launch by the end of January. Nokia 9 will come with Snapdragon 845, Android One running on the latest Android 9.0 Pie and five rear cameras, its biggest USP.

Honor View 20

Huawei sub-brand Honor will launch View 20 in the country on January 22. The smartphone has already been listed on the Amazon site as an exclusive, said to be going against the likes of OnePlus 6T. The Honor View 20 will also be the first phone in India to come with a punch-hole display and 48MP Sony 1MX 586 Sensor. In China, the smartphone costs CNY 2,999 (around Rs 30,450).

Huawei P30 Pro

The upcoming third generation Huawei P series smartphone P30 Pro has been leaked with renderS showing four rear cameras and 10x optical zoom. Huawei P30 Pro is being tipped to arrive in March with four rear cameras out of which one will be a telephoto lens offering up to 10x optical zoom and another is expected to be a ToF (Time of Flight) camera.

Xiaomi Mi Play

Xiaomi launched its first water drop notch phone in China as Mi Play. The smartphone comes with a Full HD+ 5.84-inch display with a water drop notch. Mi Play is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 with a premium finish on the out. Xiaomi Mi play has a rear dual camera setup with a circular shaped fingerprint sensor at the center-back. Mi Play has been launched in China for 1099 yuan (around Rs 10,990).
