Redmi 64MP Camera Phone

The Redmi GM Lu Weibing has posted a few snaps on Chinese microblogging site Weibo sharing a few details about its upcoming Redmi products. Among all, a Redmi phone has been confirmed by the company with a four camera setup. The new independent sub-brand will soon be launching soon a 64MP camera phone under its belt.

Apart from sharing the news, the company GM also posted some camera samples shot with the 64MP Redmi camera phone. Previously Realme CEO Madhav Sheth did the same with Realme’s upcoming 64MP camera phone.

To add to the excitement, on Monday, Xiaomi VP and India MD Manu Kumar Jain also posted the same camera samples shot with the Redmi 64MP camera phone. This directly hints at India launch of the Redmi 64MP camera phone soon, probably by August end or early September.

Redmi 7 Pro

Xiaomi will also unveil a Pro variant of its Redmi 7 smartphone in the next quarter to complete the trio. Redmi 7A and Redmi 7 has already been unveiled in the country, and it may launch another model as Redmi 7 Pro. It will succeed the current Redmi 6 Pro, which was a rebranded Mi A2 Lite. So, the Mi CC9e or the new CC9 Lite smartphone could come to India as a rebranded Redmi 7 Pro. The company is yet to share details and officially confirm the existence.

Last year, the Redmi 6 Pro was launched during September. So, we need to wait.

Xiaomi Mi CC9e comes a 6.08-inch HD+ display running on octa-core Snapdragon 665 processor with up to 4GB of RAM and Android 9 Pie, powered by a 4,030mAh battery. Xiaomi Mi CC9e packs a triple camera system featuring a 48 megapixel primary camera, second 8 megapixel camera and a third 2 megapixel camera.

Poco F2

While there’s still a lot of confusion whether the next Poco device will launch or not, it is still in the probable list. The company still hasn’t confirmed that the series has been called off. Given the success of the first Poco device, a second smartphone is definitely expected. Xiaomi India head Manu Kumar Jain have repeatedly resisted from commenting on anything related to the next Poco smartphone. So, the future of the brand does hang in suspicion for now.

In other news, a Xiaomi official has reportedly said an official leaving the POCO team doesn’t necessarily mean it’s being shut down.

The newly launched premium Redmi K20 series may get into the shoes of Poco F1 to carry on with its legacy. As K20 series is also priced very aggressively, there are even bigger doubts on whether any Poco will launch in the future or not. Poco F1 was announced in August. So, we further need to wait for a few more weeks to know what will happen.

Mi MIX 4

While there are very thin chances of Mi MIX 4 launching in the country, there’s a MIX smartphone in the pipeline for Xiaomi. The company may launch the smartphone in October, or a bit before. Xiaomi is currently working on Mi MIX 4 and has been termed as ‘Super Art Business Flagship.’ The company will again be using an innovative design, with top-of-the-line hardware.

The last MIX smartphone, Mi MIX 3 came with a slider design and 5G support.
