Redmi’s next biggest offering: Mi A3, Mi A3 Lite have been officially teased by Xiaomi on Twitter.

Mi A3, Mi A3 Lite Officially Teased By Xiaomi

Here is the official teaser, which speaks about the legacy of Mi A series.

As we reported earlier today, Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite, collectively called as Mi A3 Duo will most probably have Snapdragon 730 and Snapdragon 675 processors.

While Mi A3 has been code-named as ‘bamboo_sprout’, MiA3 Lite has been codenamed as ‘cosmos_sprout’.

Note here, that Donovan Sung hasn’t directly mentioned that Mi A3 and A3 Lite would be launched soon, but subtly hinted about the same.

He says that the company had launched Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite exactly a year earlier, powered by Android One. And then, he asks fans what do they expect from the next generation of Mi A series smartphone?

These two statements directly point out to the fact that these two smartphones shared by him are indeed Mi A3 and Mi A3 Lite.

Mi A3 And Mi A3 Lite: What We Know So Far

There are various conflicting reports related to this new flagship from Redmi.

One of the strongest possibilities about this new Mi A series is that, this can be a rebranded version of Xiaomi Mi CC9 & Mi CC9e, which was recently launched in China.

If that happens, then Snapdragon 730 can indeed power Mi A3 coupled with 6GB/8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB internal memories combinations.

48MP rear camera is also a strong possibility, along with 32 MP selfies camera.

If Mi CC9 is indeed the actual Mi A3, then it will have tripple camera setup in the rear, with 48MP main camera, along with 16MP as secondary sensor and a third 12MP sensor.

Being Android One, this can be Android 9.0 Pie OS, and also in-display fingerprint, which has been included in the Mi CC9 smartphone.

While CC9 is priced at approximately Rs 26,000, Mi A3 is expected at Rs 20,000 range.

These all are speculations as of now, and we will keep you updated, as more details come in.
