Redmi’s 1st 5G Phone Will Launch In India; Xiaomi Will Launch 8 Products Today, Including One ‘Mysterious’ Offering
Xiaomi arrived in India a few years back and within no time became among India’s top mid range smartphone companies. It builds not just phones but also fitness trackers, televisions, air purifiers, and tablets. Xiaomi started the year 2019 by making Redmi an independent brand. So now there are 3 brands under it: Redmi, Mi and Poco.
The good news here is that on June 10, which is today, Xiaomi has announced one of its biggest launch programs, launching not just one or two but 8 new products and we all have been absolutely eager to unravel them.
At the start of this year, Xiaomi had promised to release the first 5G phone and is working well on that. Donovan Sung, the global spokesperson at Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi 5G smartphone is coming to India soon.
The Mega Launch of the Year!
Among the 8 products aired to launch today, Xiaomi will be launching its highly awaited Mi Band 4 today. Six out of 8 products in the launch would be smart home appliances. Yes, you read it right. Each time we feel like Xiaomi is done surprising us, it pops up with another such news to blow off our mind.
Speaking of the products to be launching today, among the 6 house appliance products, lie new smart kitchen appliances from Feng Wei Holdings founder Nicholas Tse. Mi Band 4 is another product in the line. They are the most wearable, popular and sold fitness tracker devices, spread not just in Asia but also largely in Europe. It will come with a battery durability of 135mAh battery and a rumoured OLED screen but we believe that there’ll be LCD.
This Band 4 is marketed by Mi in its teasers and chats as something new and revolutionary. In fact, it has been put under pre-order in the Chinese pre-order website AliExpress. It is releasing in China on 11 June and is rumoured to release in the rest of the world by the end of June.
There is however, another product which is termed as a ‘mysterious products’, a surprise element that is said to change fate of the market or the lives of the individuals purchasing it, is yet to be known. This is the one we’re most excited to unravel.
Xiaomi’s Mi MIX 3 5G Phone to Launch Soon in India
Xiaomi’s 1st 5G phone, Mi MIX 3 5G is already available in Switzerland and the work is in progress for its near launch in India. Integrated with the Qualcom Snapdragon X50 5G modem, the smartphone can connect to sub-6GHz signals capable of gigabit-class download speed. Powered with the best hardware, MIX 3 is set to sustain prolonged and stable peak performance.
This phone has a 6.39-inch FHD+ Samsung AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080p and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. It comes with a 12MP AI dual camera and pairs with several AI based camera features. It also includes a 3800mAh battery paired with quack charge+ and runs Android Pie-based MIUI 10 out-of-the-box.
