Tata Sky’s Rs 46 Regional Packs: Start Of Price War?
Targeting regional content users, Tata Sky has unleashed new ‘Lite Packs’, whose price starts from Rs 46 per month, but becomes Rs 199 after adding NCF and taxes.
Spotted in the Tata Sky app, these regional packs are available for Tamil, Telegu and Kannada languages only. Compared to other regional packs, these lite packs for Tamil, Telugu and Kannada languages are upto 25% less expensive.
However, Rs 46 (Rs 199 with taxes) pack is different, for each language.

In the last few weeks, Tata Sky, D2h and Dish TV has announced their new long term packs, which gives a free subscription of their services, to some users.
Leading the pack is d2H, which is offering upto 5 months of free subscription, in case any user (old and new) opts for 55 months subscription. The long term plans and benefits starts from 3-months, wherein the user can get 7 days of free subscription.
