The wait is finally over, Realme U1 is here. The company is debuting with its new selfie centric ‘U’ series and Realme U1 is the first smartphone under the latest Realme series.

Backed by top features, the all new Realme U1 will come with selfie-focused features.

The smartphone runs on the brand new MediaTek’s Helio P70 chipset featuring a ‘water-drop’ notch styled display like the Realme 2 Pro. Realme U1 will be available exclusively via Amazon India.

Realme U1 Design | Realme U1 Display

Realme U1 will come with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ panel featuring a water-drop notched display. Realme U1 has a 2.5D dual curved glass design. On the outside we have a layered glass finish made out of polycarbonate.

The smartphone will be available in three colours: black, blue and a new gold edition, first for any Realme phone.

Realme U1 Hardware | Realme U1 Software

Realme U1 will don the new Helio P70 chipset offering top level performance, better than SoCs like Kirin 710 or Snapdragon 636. The smartphone will offer system level optimization to better allocate the resources and offer maximum performance.

The system will run on in-house Color OS UI. The software has been optimized in a way that it will allow the smartphone to perform better under heavy usage.

The MediaTek Helio P70 has improved a lot compared to P60. The system has been custom made to offer big core performance backed by an improved AI engine, improved camera, and fluid gaming performance.

Realme U1 Rear Camera

Realme U1 will come with rear dual rear camera setup offering super slow-motion video recording like we get to see on iPhones. At the back Realme U1 will come with a 13-megapixel primary sensor coupled with a 2-megapixel depth sensor.

The new Super Slo Mo mode offers video recording up to 90fps at 720p.

The smartphone supports vivid mode for edited pictures you can share instantly. Realme U1 uses AI for bokeh effect which also features AI Beauty option to add instant filters.

Realme U1 Front Camera

Realme U1 will come with a 25-megapixel Sony IMX 576 sensor up front. The selfie camera features a f/2.0 aperture that supports multi-frame NR of upto 1.8-micron pixel size.

Being primarily a selfie phone, the company has made sure that you can click great selfies with Realme U1.

The Realme U1 front camera has a 25 megapixel shooter from Oppo lineup. It offer crystal clear ultra wide selfies irrespective of any lighting condition. Now you won’t need light to get a better selfie with Realme U1.

Realme U1 Price & Availability

Realme U1 will be available exclusively via Amazon India. There’s a dedicated ‘Notify me’ available on Amazon for Realme U1. The base variant of the Realme U1 will be available at Rs 11,999 (3GB/32GB).

The high-end variant of Realme U1, on the other hand, will cost Rs 14,499 (4GB/64 GB).
