Design and Physique of Realme 3
The phone fits snugly in one hand and is not bulky at all, which is the first major advantage of the phone. The back panel does attract a few fingerprints, but nothing that a good back cover would cure. It has a sleek and shiny back panel, but there is no fear of the phone sliding off your hands.
On the right side of the phone, there is the power button and the volume toggle keys are embedded on the left. The left side also has the sim card tray with a dedicated slot for sim cards and memory cards. At the bottom, there is 3.5 mm jack, micro USB port, and a speaker grill as well.
Display
The phone has a nice and wide display of 6.2-inch (15.8 cm) HD+ screen, and the screen resolution is 1520×720 pixels, with an aspect ratio of 19:9. Realme 3 comes with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The screen has a dewdrop notch with a slim bezel at the bottom and none on the sides. This again is another noble feature the phone flaunts.
OS, SoC, and Battery
The phone functions on 12nm 2.1Ghz octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 processor, which will offer 30 percent fast download speeds. Helio P70 is said to offer 3 percent better multi-core CPU performance as compared to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660. The phone will have the Android 9 Pie update too along with a ColorOS v6.0. Another added advantage Realme 3 comes with stock android.
The battery of the phone is 4,230 mAh battery which is undoubtedly huge and can run for two days on a single charge if used moderately.
Security and Other Features
Realme 3 is equipped with fingerprint sensors and a face unlock feature, both of which work at an incredibly rapid speed and are extremely reliable.
There are multiple other features in this phone such as E-Compass, light sensor, proximity sensor, gravity sensor, accelerometer sensor, and OTG.
Camera
On the rear panel of Realme 3 is 13 MP + 2 MP dual camera set and it supports Nightscape, Hybrid HDR and Portrait mode. Whereas the front camera is 13 MP AI based camera which has f/2.0 aperture with support for HDF and AI beautification.
Our Verdict
Realme 3 has often been compared to Realme U1 and given the price and the features it offers, Realme 3 is clearly the winner! The phone is packed with some wonderful features and at a totally affordable price.
