At the Realme 3 launch, the ex-Oppo sub-brand dropped off a big clue for the next Realme smartphone, the Realme 3 Pro. The smartphone has been in the news since January.

Just like its predecessor, the Realme 3 Pro is going to pack in some solid specs backed by a aggressive price tag. Even at the event, the company directly hinted at it being a Redmi Note 7 Pro competitor.

Realme 3 Pro: What We Know So Far!
Realme CEO hinted at Realme 3 Pro being a direct competitor to the current Redmi Note 7 Pro. The current mid-range flagship from Xiaomi offers some top rated specs and features starting at just Rs 13,999.
While Xiaomi delivered an awesome device at that price, Realme is expected to carry forward the trend.
At the Realme 3 event, the company told Realme fans to wait, as the best is yet to arrive. They even told, Redmi Note 7 Pro may be a camera beast, but the upcoming Realme 3 Pro is going to be a speed and camera beast at the same time. The Realme 3 Pro teaser says “Speed Awakens.”
The company earlier confirmed that they will bring a 48MP smartphone soon, and it’s probably the Realme 3 Pro.
Realme 3 Pro vs Redmi Note 7 Pro: The Price War!
Redmi Note 7 Pro already uses a Snapdragon 675 chip, built on a 11nm process. It’s the same chip used in high-priced smartphones Vivo V15 Pro or Oppo R17 Pro. So, Realme 3 Pro needs to bring in something really good.
The company may pack in MediaTek Helio P90, built on TSMC’s 12FFC process node.
But, again it won’t be anything better than Snapdragon 675. So, the company either needs to have a really aggressive pricing, or something better than SD 675 to beat Redmi Note 7 Pro.
Realme has been challenging Xiaomi phones since past three quarters.
But the latest two smartphones from the house of Xiaomi will soon bring it back to the game. Both Redmi Note 7 and Redmi Note 7 Pro pack in stellar features, most importantly at a very aggressive pricing.
Realme 3 Pro Leaked Specs & Features
Realme 3 Pro is going to precede Realmr 2 Pro, which was launched last year. The smartphone came with a Snapdragon 660, dewdrop display, dual cameras and gradient finish. Realme 2 Pro still remains the company’s one of most powerful handsets.
The Realme 3 Pro teaser had Redmi Note 7 Pro specs on the right, clarifying that the upcoming device will be in line with the Xiaomi mid-range flagship.
Redmi Note 7 Pro packs in a 48MP Sony IMX 586 sensor, glass back design, Snapdragon 675 chipset and a large 4,000mAh battery.
Realme3 Pro may come with the similar Snapdragon 675 chipset at a cheaper price, or the MediaTek Helio P90 chip.
Realme 3 Pro may come with the 48MP camera. The company may also include a triple camera setup or even a full screen display with a pop-up selfie camera.

Realme 3 Pro will launch in April. The company is yet to give us a date, but it’s most probably in the first week. Realme 3 Pro is going to be the most premium Realme smartphone so far.
RedmiNote 7 Pro will go on sale on March 13, and Realme 3 Pro may get its first sale in the second week of April.
The price will be at par with Redmi Note 7 Pro, maybe even less than it. As per the leak, the base model of Realme 3 Pro may start at Rs 12,990.
The company has already started to tease the device, while it’s still weeks away. To sum up, till writing of this, Realme has not provided any official details of the Realme 3 Pro as of yet.
