Oppo will soon be unveiling one it’s much-hyped innovative technologies next month under a new series called Reno. The company unveiled the 10X zoom technology at the MWC 2019, and will now launch officially on April 10.

The Oppo Reno will feature world’s first 10X lossless zoom technology camera.

Reno is going to cater mainly to the younger audience. Though the smartphone packs in high-end specifications with an advanced camera mechanism featuring the 10X optical zoom, expected to be a mid-premium smartphone.

The camera samples have already been leaked on Chinese microblogging site Weibo, and to everybody’s surprise, the pictures have turned out to be phenomenal.

Oppo Reno will come with a periscope-style zoom camera with world’s first 10X lossless zoom technology.

World’s First 32 Million Pixel Sony IMX510 Sensor

The Oppo Reno will come with the world’s first 32 million pixel Sony IMX510 sensor. It’s an f/1.7 sensor offering a large aperture for better details and light. Oppo will leverage the Sony imaging technology for a developed AI smart body feature.

This will help the camera to sense race, skin color, skin quality, age, gender, height for a variety of beauty.

48-Megapixel Sony IMX 586 Sensor

The upcoming Oppo Reno will feature the current best imaging sensor, the Sony IMX 586. The primary rear camera will come equipped with Schneider- certified 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 ultra-clear main camera. The new sensor will allow the Reno smartphone with an 120-degree super wide-angle camera.

The Oppo Reno smartphone will come with a vertically-positioned triple camera setup at the back coupled with a true tone LED flash.

World’s First 10X Optical Lossless Zoom

The Oppo Reno will come with world’s first 10x optical lossless zoom telephoto camera. That means the smartphone an easily zoom upto 160 mm without losing any details. The Oppo Reno camera will feature a 16mm-160mm multifocal segment coverage. The smartphone uses a special periscope lens to offer 10x hybrid optical zoom support.

The 10X lossless zoom technology wa unveiled at the MWC 2019, where the smartphone could zoom upto 160mm without any raise in camera.

Rear Triple Camera Setup With Variable Aperture

The main camera on Oppo Reno will consist of an f/1.5 + f/2.4 variable aperture. It’s the same variable aperture technology as Oppo R17 Pro. The f/1.5 + Ff2.4 variable aperture will be used along with a periscopic module to adjust the aperture according to different conditions and lighting available.

The Oppo Reno have a comparatively thin camera module, which only is 6.76 mm thick with a slight bump.

Top Low Light Camera Performance

Being a camera-focused smartphone, Oppo Reno attempts to offer excellent photos under extremely challenging conditions. The lens will adjust itself to different scenes and lighting conditions. The camera will switch to an f/1.5 large aperture whenever it detects a dark environment.

It will also automatically switch to f/2.4 small aperture in a bright environment.

The company has developed a technology which ensures that the photos taken under any lighting condition should capture enough details, be it too dark or too and bright light.

All New Super Camera Mode

The Oppo Reno will come with a special and all new super camera mode. This will help the smartphone to capture great details and colors in whatever lighting condition the camera is used. Also, the Super Camera Mode on Oppo Reno will come with a powerful night scene algorithm to be used in extreme dark lighting conditions.

Just like a dark, it will also have a light photo with a powerful backlight algorithm to further enhance the clarity and colors.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Chip

The Oppo Reno smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 855 SoC. It’s the current best flagship chip in the market offering 5G capabilities. Built on a 7nm process, the smartphone will come with Kryo 485 CPU and Adreno 640 GPU.

The leaked listings show that the device may come with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
