Xiaomi Poco F1: Exclusive On Flipkart?

Flipkart has just launched a teaser page, which forces us to believe that Xiaomi’s new premium smartphone brand: Poco’s first launch would be an exclusive.

The teaser page says “Something #AsFastAsYou is coming soon only on Flipkart!”.

The expected launch date of this premium smartphone is August 22nd.

What Can We Expect From Poco F1?

We have already reported Pocophone F1’s leaked prices, specs and features, and as per our observation, this new offering from Xiaomi packs a punch.

The interesting question is: Can it give a good fight to OnePlus 6, which is right now top-selling premium smartphone in India.

With its expected price to be less than Rs 30,000, Poco F1 can challenge Asus Zenfone 5Z and Honor 10 as well. While 64 GB of this phone costs EUR 420 in Eastern Europe, 128 GB costs EUR 420.

As of now, this phone’s display notch and dual rear camera are some of the highlights, which are being discussed heavily.

Oppo F9 Pro’s India Launch Confirmed

Meanwhile Oppo’s flagship offering: F9 is coming to India on August 21, which is a day earlier than Xiaomi Poco F1 launch.

Their launch dates in Vietnam and Philippines have already been declared.

The company has built subtle hype and anticipation regarding its launch, as the design aspects have been carefully refreshed, as newer elements have been induced to make the offering irresistible.

What Is So Special About Its Design?

A new terminology called ‘Waterdrop Design’ has been introduced for the first time in Oppo F9 Pro, which makes the display edge-to-edge along with immersive and powered with a notch shaped like a Waterdrop.

90.8% screen-to-body ratio and 19.5:9 aspect ratio makes Oppo F9 Pro an interesting proposition. Besides, F9 was the first smartphone to get Gorilla Glass 6 protection, which can be extended to F9 Pro as well. Besides, the notch will have 25-megapixel AI sensor, just like Oppo F7 and F9.

The VOOC Flash Charge support is another highlight of the smartphone, which can support 2-hour talktime on a charge of just 15 minutes.
