Nokia 7 Plus Leaked

After Nokia 7 Plus was spotted on Geekbench, a recent leak of a few presentation slides of the Nokia 7 Plus on Chinese search engine Baidu revealed some key details of the upcoming HMD flagship.

Like the earlier Geekbench leak, the new Baidu leak confirms that Nokia 7 Plus will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC and will run on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. But it also adds that Nokia 7 Plus is going to be their first smartphone to feature an 18:9 widescreen display.

Nokia is also planning to launch its flagship, Nokia 9, at MWC at Barcelona this month. As per the leaked reports, there will be two Nokia smartphones launched at the global event. One of them is the Nokia 7 Plus.

Nokia 7 Plus – Specifications & Features

The details in the leaked presentation slides on the Chinese site Baidu match the ones previously leaked on Geekbench and also revealed additional details at the same time.

The Nokia 7 Plus will come with a 6-inch widescreen display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a Full HD+ panel with a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.

The smartphone will come with 64GB onboard storage and a microSD card slot for expanding the storage.

The Nokia 7 Plus will sport a dual camera setup at the back, with a wide-angle 12MP and a telephoto 13MP cameras. Up front, the device will feature a 16 MP selfie shooter with Carl Zeiss optics.

The secondary sensor will come with Portrait mode. The 16MP front camera will come with a f/2.0 aperture. The leak also mentions that the camera will come with the signature Nokia camera feature, Bothie, which uses the rear and front cameras at the same time.

The upcoming Nokia 7 Plus will reportedly come with Nokia’s special OZO 360-degree spatial audio technology to provide a 360-degree crystal clear sound.

Nokia 7 Plus will run the latest Android Oreo 8.0 out of the box. Nokia has also confirmed that all its devices will soon receive the Android 8.1 Oreo update.

Fast Charging

The smartphone will most likely come with the same battery unit as its predecessor, the Nokia 7. But it will support fast charging with the Quick Charge feature last seen on the Nokia 8.

Nokia 7 Plus: Coming Soon

Nokia 7 was the first smartphone from HMD Global with a glass-covered body. As per the latest leak, the Nokia 7 Plus will come with an all-metal body with a ceramic coating around the edges at the back.
