Fresh off the stove is the news of leaked images of a mysterious Nokia smartphone. These images show a Nokia smartphone held in a hand flaunting its Penta Lens Camera feature – and the Nokia branding.

The official Instagram page of Nokia mobile posted an image of the shiny back panel of the phone, which shows a total of 7 circular slots arranged in a circle with a ‘Zeiss’ logo inscribed underneath one of them and the popular Nokia branding in the middle.

Nokia 9: An Overview

Nokia apparently plans to dispose of the notches in its new smartphone and design the phone with super slim bezels and chin. However, the microphone and selfie camera will be placed on the top bezel. The primary camera is supposed to be of a 41 MP and dual aperture of f/1.5 to f/2.4.

Also, Nokia is planning to introduce the in-display fingerprint sensor for the new Nokia 9, which can be deduced from the lack of a fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone. This image also points out that Nokia 9 is made of glass from the way it shines in the light.

Controversial Images of a new Nokia!

One image leaked is enough for this to be called a mystery, but two images, with no similarity to the previous one whatsoever, have now created a perplexing enigma! On a Chinese microblogging site Weibo, two images of a smartphone, with the familiar Nokia branding, have popped up and created a whirlwind of assumptions and brainwaves!

All kinds of theories are now being spun around these images, one of which is that this is not the new Nokia 9, as the phone in the picture lacks the trademark Penta-camera at the back; instead, there is a triple rear camera set on the back panel, again, with no fingerprint sensor.

No Notch and No Front Camera?!

The display of this mysterious phone is where the puzzle lies. There is absolutely no notch and no signs of a front camera! What we can only assume is that Nokia has either given up on the concept of the front camera (which is a weird thing to do) or, introduced a pop-up selfie camera similar to the Vivo Nex. There might also be a slider mechanism like the Mi Mix 3.

Also, the notchless display is finished with a chin that has branded the company name, Nokia. Although there is no official confirmation about the launch of these phones from HMD Global, let’s hope these smartphones are worth the storm they have kicked off!
