Jio Dhan Dhanaa Dhan Offer

After Reliance Jio was advised to withdraw the Summer Surprise Offer by TRAI, the company shared that it will soon come up with another set of plans. According to a leak, Jio is coming up with ‘Dhan Dhana Dhan Offer’, that will offer similar benefits like the ‘Jio Summer Surprise Offer’.

Jio To Launch ‘Dhan Dhanaa Dhan Offer’ With 1 GB/day And 2 GB/day Plans

It was widely expected that Jio will come up with plans that will offer similar benefits like the ‘Summer Surprise Offer’ while complying with TRAI guidelines.

Sources suggest that the 1 GB/day unlimited plan will now cost Rs. 309 to Jio Prime members and Rs. 349 to normal Jio subscribers. Other benefits will remain the same including free voice calls anywhere in India even while roaming and a complimentary subscription to Jio apps. The plan will carry a validity of 84 days.

The 2 GB/day unlimited data (speed reduced to 128 Kbps post 2 GB) plan will now cost Rs. 509 to Prime members, and Rs. 549 to non-Prime members. The rest of the benefits will remain the same and the plan would be valid for 84 days.

Those who have not enrolled for Jio Prime can do the same by recharging with either Rs. 408 or Rs. 608 (Rs. 99 + plan cost for Prime members), and get the same benefits as Prime members.

Jio Will Scrap Plans Offering 100GB For 3 Months Without Daily FUP Limit

Jio was earlier offering 100 GB valid for 3 months on all plan subscription above Rs. 999, but according to this report, the company is expected to withdraw these plans and replace them with unlimited data plans carrying a daily limit of either 1 GB/day or 2 GB/day.

If these rumours come true and Reliance Jio launches these plans then it will disrupt the telecom market in India once again (after Preview Offer, Welcome Offer, Happy New Year Offer, and Summer Surprise Offer).

The incumbent telecom operators will cry foul and the government is likely to face reduced revenue generation from the existing operators. These plans from Jio will adversely affect the market in the long-term, but the consumers will be greatly benefited, at least in the short-term.

It remains to be seen how the leading telecom operators react to this. Will they launch similar plans or complain to the telecom regulator again? Stay tuned for more info!
