Many IT businesses are mass-vaccinating their personnel to ensure that they are protected from Covid, while also preparing them to return to work once the situation gets back to normal, or the pandemic’s impact is reduced.

Most MNC employees have already received their first round of vaccination, and some have also completed their second dosage.

The Work From Home Mode Culture

“The work from home mode will continue further, whether the Covid is going to be intense or not. I expect that companies will not allow work from office mode for the next 6 to 12 months. Everyone should be vaccinated, or herd immunity should be achieved. Until then we need to take precautions and continue to work from home,”

MR Manohar Reddy, Hyderabad chapter president, The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), Founder and CEO, Feuji, told Bizz Buzz.

The Large corporations have allowed their staff to work from home but small businesses and startups are finding it difficult to adapt the work from anywhere model due to a lack of resources and technology.

Many corporations planned to reopen offices in full force at the moment, but with the second wave striking and more lockdowns being announced, these plans had to be postponed for a long period.

“Though most of the companies are continuing WFH mode, for now, many companies can’t afford that luxury barring large companies in long run,” Manohar Reddy said.

“We see early indications for some offices to reopen with reduced staff strength from October or November, but to work with full strength, I suspect that it would probably be towards ?rst quarter of next year or more likely mid of the next year,” said Viiveck Varma, Founder, UpSurge Enterprise Solutions.
