OnePlus 9T launch will happen later this year, expected in October. OnePlus announced that it is merging its own OxygenOS with Oppo’s ColorOS, and OnePlus 9T will be the first phone to run the merged UI. OxygenOS will continue to run on the OnePlus phones globally, but it will share its codebase with ColorOS. OnePlus 9T will offer Hasselblad cameras as the OnePlus 9 series, and may not have a OnePlus 9T Pro like last year.
OxygenOS and ColourOS merger means the upcoming OnePlus and OPPO phones will have a very similar UI.
OnePlus said the common codebase will standardise the software experience on phones of both the brands. ColorOS will be a part of the process for future OxygenOS updates, and vice versa. The flagship OnePlus series, including T and R models will now receive three guaranteed major Android updates and four years of security updates, the company confirmed.

OnePlus 9T will come with an LTPO Samsung E4 flexible AMOLED screen offering Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The device will run on recently announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ chip. The upcoming OnePlus phone will feature a 32-megapixel front camera, and a rear triple camera system. OnePlus 9T may come with ColorOS 11 following the recent announcement.
OnePlus 9T will have a merged OxygenOS + ColorOS UI and software alongside Hasselblad branded cameras.
The setup will include a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 8-megapixel secondary sensor and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. A new leak suggests, OnePlus 9T will feature a 108MP quad-camera system.
The company may unveil OnePlus 9T Pro alongside, or give it a miss. The company didn’t launch a Pro variant of OnePlus 8T last year, so we may not a OnePlus 9T Pro as well this year. To early to comment on this, but OnePlus 9T Pro launch may not happen at all.
