The leaked budget OnePlus smartphone could be a part of the OnePlus Nord series, budget-focused dedicated OnePlus phones for mid-budget and mid-range price categories.
Recently a second OnePlus second Nord device was also spotted, tipped to be OnePlus Nord Lite 5G. In India, the budget OnePlus phone with Snapdragon 460 may retail at Rs 9,999 for the base model.
OnePlus went back to its roots with the OnePlus Nord, the original flagship killer space. The new OnePlus budget phones leaking out hint at the company’s attempt to enter the growing mid-range segment. With the Nord being a different segment of OnePlus phones altogether, the company may drop its flagship status to enter multiple price categories.

OnePlus Budget Phone: Snapdragon 460, 6,000mAh Battery
An upcoming OnePlus phone has been leaked online, but with some peculiar specs. It isn’t OnePlus 8T or OnePlus 9 or any OnePlus phone running on the top-end Snapdragon processor. It’s surprisingly a budget OnePlus smartphone found with entry-level Snapdragon 460 SoC, a budget Qualcomm chip launched earlier in the year.
OnePlus budget phone is said to have a 6.52-inch HD+ display and multiple new budget OnePlus models are expected to be in development.
The new OnePlus phone is the second to leak this month after another OnePlus phone was found to be running on Snapdragon 690 5G SoC, tipped to be OnePlus Nord Lite 5G, expected to be priced under 20,000 INR.
The BBK Electronics owned company seem to be working to diversify its offering. OnePlus may come up with multiple Nord phones for different line-ups. The new OnePlus phone is tipped to be the most affordable from OnePlus ever.
Recently a leak revealed an affordable OnePlus device with support for downgraded 18W fast charging. The upcoming budget OnePlus device could be the one with entry level features. The budget OnePlus phone will be a part of the Nord series. The company already unveiled the original OnePlus Nord last month in the country.
OnePlus Budget Phone Specs: OnePlus Clover Specs, Features
The codenamed OnePlus “Clover” phone will pack in a massive 6,000mAh battery and Snapdragon 460SoC. The OnePlus clover smartphone will come with a 6.52-inch HD+ display offering a screen resolution of 720 x 1,560 pixels.
OnePlus Clover will be powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 SoC. The Snapdragon 460 is in line with the other budget chips as MediaTek Helio G35 SoC which currently powers Realme C15.
The budget OnePlus phone chip will pair with 4GB of RAM with at least 64GB of storage along with microSD card support. The OnePlus budget phone under 10,000 will have a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
OnePlus Clover is said to come with a triple rear camera setup featuring a 13-megapixel primary sensor with an f/2.2 lens and two 2-megapixel sensors with f/2.4 lenses.
Lastly, the entry-level OnePlus phone under 10,0000 will have a 6,000mAh battery along with 18W fast charging support and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The upcoming OnePlus Clover phone will have certain similarities with sister brand budget phones from Realme, Oppo and Vivo.

OnePlus Clover price is expected to stay in and around INR 12,000 to 15,000 globally. OnePlus Clover price in India may remain under Rs 10,000 for the base model. OnePlus “Clover” phone is said to go on sale initially in the US at around $200 (approximately Rs 14,750).
