OnePlus Nord Officially Confirmed: Coming To India First?
OnePlus has officially confirmed the name of it’s upcoming affordable version of the current OnePlus 8 series. The company tweeted about it as OnePlus gears up to bring in “a new, more affordable smartphone product line” under the popular brand. The new affordable range of OnePlus smartphones will be called Nord.
The company aims to offer a similar premium and flagship experience on a budget with OnePlus Nord.
OnePlus previously created an Instagram page as well called “OnePlusLiteZThings” entirely dedicated for the affordable OnePlus phones.
The OnePlus Nord is the same device previously leaked on multiple occasions: OnePlus Z, OnePlus Lite Z or OnePlus 8 Lite.
The company has already confirmed that the upcoming OnePlus Nord series will launch in India and Europe first. OnePlus Nord will later launch in North America and other Asian countries. OnePlus cryptically confirmed the OnePlus Nord India launch in July, currently being expected on July 10.

OnePlus Nord will be powered by mid-range Qualcomm 5G chip, the Snapdragon 765G with 12GB RAM and 128GB/256GB UFS 3.0 internal storage. The device will run on Android 10 out of the box with OxygenOS. OnePlus Nord will come with a triple camera setup at the back.
OnePlus Nord will feature a 48-megapixel main lens, a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Upfront, the OnePlus Nord will have a 16-megapixel Sony IMX471 sensor, the whole system backed by a 4,000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support.
