New Redmi K30 leaks have emerged again, and this time reports suggest that the device is likely to feature the much talked-about 120Hz display. Successors to the Redmi K20 smartphones, the first Redmi K30 device is rumoured to be launching in a month.

Redmi K30 smartphone has already been officially teased by the company, but the leaks are regular now.

The confirmed features include Redmi K30 without a pop-up sensor.

The device will embrace a punch-hole display design this time to offer a full view screen experience. The device is also said to feature the 108MP penta camera system from Mi Note 10 and the new 100W charging technology.

Redmi K30 120Hz Display: Redmi K30 To Come With 120Hz Display

According to a new leak by XDA Developers, the upcoming Redmi K30 is said to come with the much-hyped 120Hz display. The parent company has already been leaked a number of times to be working on a 120Hz display, and it may debut with the Redmi K30.

Redmi K30 will have the best of the features and hardware including a memory setup of upto 12GB of RAM and 512GB storage.

Redmi K30 Pro either may feature a 90Hz refresh rate display or a higher rated display to offer the latest display technology, which is being rumoured to the 120Hz display. There will be an option to switch between 60Hz standard and higher display refresh rate.

Redmi K30 100W Charging Support: Redmi K30 To Support 100W Super Charge Turbo?

Finally coming to the battery, Redmi K30 has already been leaked to feature a massive 4,800 mAh battery. A similar sized unit is also expected on Redmi K30 Pro, probably a slightly larger 5,000mAh battery would be packed inside the Pro model.

Previously it was leaked that both the Redmi K30 devices will support up to 65W fast charging technology.

There has been a few reports that Redmi K30 may come with the Xiaomi 100W super charge turbo support. The new 100W super charge turbo technology can fully charge Redmi Note 8 in just 17 minutes, a 4,000mAh battery. 

Xiaomi hasn’t yet revealed which smartphones will come with the 100W super charge turbo technology, but the Redmi K30 smartphones are expected to be the first.

The Xiaomi 100W super charge turbo tech will directly take on Vivo’s upcoming 120W ultra fast charging technology. The 100W super charge turbo tech offers high-voltage charge pump bundled with 9-fold charge protection.

Redmi K30 To Feature Side Mounted Fingerprint Sensor

The report also leaks a few design details including a new feature. The previous generation Redmi K20 series came with in-display fingerprint sensors, but the Redmi K30 will come with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor instead.

It’s going to be very similar to the Samsung Galaxy S10E smartphone. 

If it’s true, Redmi K30 is going the first Xiaomi phone to come with a side mounted fingerprint sensor. The side mounted fingerprint sensor may remain exclusive to Redmi K30 only and the K30 Pro will feature the same in-display fingerprint sensor.

Redmi K30 To Come With Snapdragon 865, 5G Connectivity?

Earlier Redmi K30 Pro was rumoured to come with Snapdragon 855 Plus while the Redmi K30 with another Snapdragon flagship chipset. But the other renders show that both the Redmi K30 models will come with the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset.

Qualcomm has already announced the new generation flagship chip and Snapdragon 865 will launch on December 3.

It’s going to be an upgraded version of the current Snapdragon 855 chipset series.

Redmi K30 smartphones will be 5G ready out of the box. Snapdragon 865 chipset has the latest Snapdragon X55 baseband to support the 5G modes connectivity. Redmi K30 with X55 can support both NSA and SA dual-mode 5G connectivity.

Redmi K30 Penta Camera Setup, Redmi K30 108MP Camera

Redmi K30 will come with a dual selfie setup inside a capsule sized punch-hole cutout featuring a 36MP primary selfie shooter coupled with a 26MP secondary camera. At the back, both Redmi K30 will come with a quad-camera system powered by the 64MP shooter.

The recent reports also suggest a similar five camera system as the newly launched Mi Note 10.

Redmi K30 may feature a similar 108MP powered rear penta camera setup. Previously, Redmi K30 was leaked to come with a 64MP primary camera coupled with a 28MP secondary sensor.

The other two sensors on Redmi K30 based on the quad camera leak reveal a 18MP and an 8MP sensors. K30 Pro will support OIS and EIS with up to 30x digital zoom and ultra wide angle lenses.

Redmi K30 India Launch, Redmi K30 Launch In India

Redmi K30 smartphones will come with 5G support, but the 5G models may only remain exclusive to China. Redmi K30 and Redmi K30 Pro is going to be the first smartphones under the separated Redmi brand to have 5G support.

Currently the Redmi K20 smartphones in India comes with standard 4G connectivity.

Xiaomi haven’t revealed the Redmi K30 series India launch timeline, but it’s expected in early 2020.

The company will be upgrading the current Redmi K20 series really quick to take on the growing competition. Realme is also launching two new flagships in the entry-level premium segment: Realme X2 and Relame X2 Pro, and the Redmi K30 series may stand as a perfect competition. 

Redmi K30 India Price, Redmi K30 Price In India

The Redmi K20 landed in India only a few months back, and the devices are doing pretty well after the recent price cuts. Redmi K30 series India launch may take some time, but it should be coming to India at around the same pricing as the current Redmi K20 series.

The company hasn’t yet revealed anything by far, and we need to wait to have the official details.

Redmi K30 India price is expected around the sub-20,000 category, while Redmi K30 Pro India price will touch the entry-premium 30,000-segment. Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro are now selling at a permanent discounted prices of Rs 19,999 and Rs 25,999 respectively.
