Realme U1 First Look Out; AnTuTu Scores Are Shocking, Beats Note 6 Pro & Honor 8X!
Realme CEO Madhav Sheth was spotted with the new Realme U1 smartphone.
Realme is again making all the hype with its next smartphone, all set launch on November 28. This is the first smartphone under it’s all new U series, the Realme U1.
This is also the first smartphone in the world to use the new Helio P70 chipset.
The new leak shows us the retail box and AnTuTu performance scores. Realme U1 will come with a water-drop notch display like Realme 2 Pro running an improved selfie camera.
Realme U1 Beats Redmi Note 6 Pro & Honor 8X
An AnTuTu speed test comparison image is out showing three smartphones. One has the model identifier RMX1833, same as Realme U1. The other two smartphones are the yet to be launched Redmi Note 6 Pro and the recently launched Honor 8X.
Realme U1 had an overall AnTuTu score of 145,021. Honor 8X scored 139,974 while Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro ended at 115,611.
So, the new MediaTek Helio P70 is a better-performing chipset compared to HiSilicon Kirin 710 and the year-old Qualcomm Snapdragon 636. Honor 8X is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 710 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro will come with the same Snapdragon 636.
On the AnTuTu platform, the Realme U1 handset is still being benchmarked by the Helio P60. This may be because AnTuTu is yet to include the newly-launched Helio P70 chipset.
If the alleged scores are true, the upcoming Realme smartphone will again stand out as a winner against the competition. Realme’s another smartphones in the mid-tier budget, Realme 2 Pro is already doing well, and now Realme U1 with MediaTek Helio P70 may make things worse for budget brands like Xiaomi and Honor.
Realme U1 First Look: Dual Cameras & Gold Colour Edition
Realme CEO Madhav Sheth was spotted taking a selfie with a Gold colored Realme smartphone. The company has no smartphone available in any Gold color. This Realme smartphone has a horizontal dual camera module like other Realme phones.
It is being speculated that it could be the Realme U1 smartphone. To confirm, a selfie was also shared on Twitter using the same phone by CEO Madhav Sheth.
The smartphone is expected to come with a wide-angle lens to capture high quality wider selfies.
Realme U1 Leaked Specs & Features
The device is said to come with a rear dual camera setup comprising of a 16-megapixel primary sensor coupled with a secondary 2-megapixel sensor.
Up front Realme U1 will probably use a camera from the Oppo lineup, an expected 25-megapixel selfie shooter.
The other leaked specifications mark at a 6.21-inch IPS LCD Full HD+ 19.5:9 display, MediaTek Helio P70 SoC with 4GB and 6GB RAM with 64GB and 128GB internal storage. The smartphone will have a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage expansion.
Realme U1 is all set to launch on November 28, less than a week later. The smartphone will be priced somewhere between Rs 10,000 and Rs 15,0000, to be available exclusively via Amazon India.
