Realme U1: Launch On November 28th
Via their Twitter handle, Realme has announced that the first smartphone under Realme U series will be U1, and it is launching on November 28th.
In their tweet, they focussed on the selfie aspect of this new flagship, as they said, “Get ready to capture those flawless selfies with a smartphone experience like never before.”

Last week, Realme had confirmed about the new U Series, which will exclusively target on selfies and cameras.

It is now confirmed that Realme U1 will be an Amazon Exclusive, and will be available starting November 28th.

Exclusive USP: World’s 1st Smartphone With Helio P70 Processor
Realme U1 will be World’s 1st smartphone with the ultra-fast Helio P70 Processor. Based on TSMC’s 12nm FinFET technology, this SoC has multi-core APU stacking up to 525MH.
This SoC chip contains 8 cores: 4 Cortex-A53 little cores operating at up to 2 GHz and four Cortex-A73 cores operating at up to 2.1 Ghz. Besides, a Mali-G72 GPU is also incorporated, which operate at up to 900 MHz along with an LTE modem supporting Cat-13 150 Mbps upload and Cat-7 300 Mbps download.
We had reported last year that Realme will launch World’s 1st Helio P70 powered smartphone, which has now been confirmed.
Besides this new, exciting chip, Realme U1 will have:
- World’s most advanced selfie camera (as claimed by Realme)
- High-Resolution Depth engine
- Faster multi-frame noise reduction shot
- Anti-Blooming engine
- Accurate AI Detection
- Dew-Drop notch
- Enhanced hardware warping engine with Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS)
Expected Price?
Analysts are predicting that Realme U1 will directly compete against the likes of Redmi Y2, which was launched as AI_powered selfie camera phone.
Hence, we can expect Realme U1 to be priced between Rs 12,000 to Rs 15,000.
Besides, the launch of Xiomi Redmi Note 6 Pro on November 22nd is also interesting, as Realme announced the date of Realme U1 after Redmi announced their launch date.
