Oppo Find X Launched in India – Specs, Price, Comparison & More!

Oppo recently unveiled its much-anticipated Oppo Find successor, the Find X. With a whopping screen-to-body ratio of 93.8 percent, the smartphone has a no-notch bezel-less display. With a motorized slider in between, the Oppo Find X comes with some top revolutionary smartphone features.

Bringing in a new design philosophy, Oppo Find X doesn’t come with a fingerprint sensor. Find X uses O-Face Recognition, which is said to be 20 times safer than fingerprint recognition. The device sports a dot projector, flood illuminator and infrared camera to detect faces in the dark.

Design & Built

The smartphone is built out of glass and stores a motorized mechanical slider in between. It has both the front and rear cameras which has been rigorously tested for durability. It can go beyond 300,000 slides.

Display

Oppo Find X has a curved 6.4 inch AMOLED display with a whopping screen-to-body ratio of 93.8 percent. It has a Panoramic Arc screen on top has been built by combining two pieces of seamless glass.

Hardware & Storage

The Oppo Find flagship will come with the latest Qualcomm flagship chipset. It will house Snapdragon 845 coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

Software

Oppo Find X will run on Oppo’s own Color OS 5.1 UI. The interface is based on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo, and it is expected that the device will get support for Android P as well.

Rear Camera

Oppo Find X will come with dual cameras at the back which include a 16 megapixel coupled with a 20 megapixel secondary sensor. The rear camera come with AI inputs, OIS and an f/2.0 aperture ratio.

Front Camera

The Oppo Find flagship will come with a 25 megapixel 3D camera up front which has an aperture rate of f/2.0 for selfies and video calling.

Connectivity

The device supports all major 4G LTE bands, 4G VoLTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Type-C port with OTG support, GPS, GLONASS, BDS and NFC. There’s no 3.5mm headphone jack.

Battery

Oppo Find X will come with a 3,700 mAh battery unit under with Oppo’s Super VOOC quick charging system support. The VOOC charger can full charge the device in just 35 minutes.

Oppo Find X Launched – India Pricing & Availability

The smartphone will be available in India for Rs 59,999 for the 256GB version. Oppo Find X is exclusive to Flipkart, and the device will be on sale on starting from August 3. The Oppo Find flagship will be available in two color options in India – Glacier Blue and Bordeaux Red.

Oppo Find X will also be available offline across India via Oppo-partnered stores.

Can Oppo Find X Beat Galaxy S9 Plus & iPhone X?

Both Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus and Apple iPhone X are top flagships with some notable features.
