A New Design Language, Just Like Moto X4
The upcoming Moto G6 series has been leaked on a number of occasions. As per the latest leak, the upcoming Moto G6 will share a similar design language with the Moto X4. The device will sport a horizontally placed dual-rear camera setup with the signature Moto bump. The edges are slightly curved and the overall design is very similar to the recently launched Moto X4.
18:9 Wide-Screen Display
The listing has revealed that the smartphone will sport a 5.7-inch full HD+ display. The upcoming Motorola smartphone will feature an 18:9 aspect ratio widescreen display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels. The Moto G6 will also come with a 3D glass back.
Latest Qualcomm Processor
The latest Moto G6 lineup will see an upgrade in terms of hardware as well. The predecessor Moto G5S Plus used the stable Snapdragon 625 processor. The upcoming G6 has been seen to be using the recently-launched Qualcomm Snapdragon 626. It is listed with 3GB of RAM and will be available in two storage options of 32GB and 64GB. There will be a 4GB RAM version as well.
Android Oreo Out-Of-The-Box
The newly-launched 6GB version of Moto X4 came with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The Moto G6 series too will run with the latest Android 8.0 Oreo with dual voice assistants (Google Assistant and Amazon’s Alexa).
Rear Dual Camera Set-Up
Coming to the optics, the upcoming Motorola smartphone will feature a dual rear camera set-up at the back. It will come with two sensors (RGB + Monochrome). The primary sensor will be a 12MP shooter and the secondary sensor will be a 5MP shooter. Up front, the device will sport a 16MP selfie camera.
Launching in April
The company has previously confirmed that it will launch the first set of Motorola products for 2018 in April. Now, as per the rumours, the much-talked-about Moto G6 series probably will be unveiled next month.
