Moto G6 Plus With Snapdragon 630 Priced At Rs 22,499; Twitterati Slams Motorola!
Motorola fans are extremely disappointed over the features of this new smartphone.

Motorola has just launched their latest model under G series: Moto G6 Plus, and the price of this new smartphone is Rs 22,499.
The news isn’t this launch, but the features which the users will get after paying Rs 22,499.
To start with, G6 Plus has Snapdragon 630 as a processor, which is the real news: Social media is now up in arms against Motorola, for selling an overpriced smartphone, and we have received some amusing tweets related to this development.
The big question: Is Lenovo intentionally sabotaging a brand like Motorola with such ridiculous pricing?
We try to investigate the real story here.
Moto G6 Plus Launched For Rs 22,499
Originally announced in the month of April, Motorola has finally launched their latest G series variant: G6 Plus. Having an all-glass exterior with 6GB of RAM, G6 Plus is having mid-range specifications, but the price point is very close to the premium range.
Powered with 5.93-inch LCD screen having 1080p resolution, this smartphone is powered with Snapdragon 630 processor, which was originally launched way back in May, 2017.
Battery too is average to say the least, with 3200mAh power. However, TurboPower Charging support makes it relatively competitive, but not competitive enough to fight the awesomeness of say, Poco branded smartphone F1, which has a Snapdragon 845 processor and priced at Rs 20,999.
Some other specifications:
- 12 MP rear camera; 8 MP front camera
- 6 GB RAM; 64 GB expandable external memory upto 256 GB
- Fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm audio jack
- Adreno 508 GPU, 2.2 GHz
- P2i water-repellent nanocoating
Twitterati Slams Motorola!
As soon as the news of this launch broke out, Twitter users started sharing their displeasure over the specifications and blamed Motorola for launching this over-priced smartphone.
We have received comments such as “Is this a joke?”; “Is everything with Motorola ok?”;
“Motorola will go out of business” etc which clearly showcase that brand Motorola has indeed made a big mistake here.
Here are some of the tweets we curated, which slammed Motorola:
The price is little bit high as compared to other phone and at 23k it will provide SD636 r they lost their mind…who is going to buy this phone.

@motorolaindia is insane.
They really aren’t aware of Indian market, they should close their business here. Nokia is giving #SD636 at a lower price.
What moto is thinking of,….#G6plus is a flop— Debjyoti Acharyya (@Iamdebu06) September 10, 2018
Consumers are not fools to buy this overpriced stuff. Definitely everyone will go for Poco F1 & honor play or will wait for Realme2 Pro.

Poco ne toh sabki band bajake rakhi hai. Only advantage to buy Moto G6 Plus is it’s available to buy, you don’t need to wait for bloody flash sales..

Atleast with Moto G6 they had a reason like “we r targetting different audience who looks for cameras and style in phone”, but for 22.5k thus phone is totally wrong no matter how u look at it, it’s not even SD636… Moto will go out of business with such strategy..
