Finally the most awaited car is out at Auto Expo Today. Ratan Tata showcased Tata Nano – 1 Lakh rupee Car to the world.

Tata Nano Car Details
Nano will also have a 30-litre fuel tank and four-speed manual gearshift. The car will come with air conditioning, but will have no power steering.
The car comes with front disk and rear drum brakes. The company claims mileage of 20 kmpl in city and 26 kmpl on highway.
The base model of Nano is expected to cost Rs 1 Lakh excluding levies.
”Since, promise is a promise the standard dealer version will cost Rs 1 lakh,” said Tata Sons Chairman Ratan Tata.
He also said that that the car is eight per cent smaller bumper to bumper, than the Maruti 800 but at the same time 21 per cent larger in its interiors and can sit up to four people.
It looks quite Jazzy Isn’t it. It will not be long before Indian roads will be filled with these cars !

When will Tata sell cars in the U.S.? This beats anything for sale here, and I’d love to see American car-makers be motivated by this kind of competition! They whine about having to achieve 30 mpg (7.84 kmpl) by such-and-such future date and our thieving, murderous, treasonous president does everything he can to continue to bolster American consumption of oil as well as oil prices/profits. *sigh* Anyway, I’d love to see Tata sell cars in the U.S. Even for 2 lakh this car would be an amazing deal here. Heck, the Honda Civic and Toyota Prius hybrids cost around 4-5 lakh, and their fuel efficiency isn’t this good.

Its the fulfilment of dream to most Asian Developing countries people. I think within very few days , most of the house’s yeard will decorated with the NANO car .
