Google Play Store has added a new ‘Offers’ tab which allows users to easily access deals on games and apps.

Available In India

It will also provide deals across travel, shopping, media, fitness, and entertainment apps.

It is currently being rolled out in the US, India, and Indonesia. Other countries will get the feature at a later date.

The Offers tab is located at the centre of the bottom ribbon where we usually find tabs for Apps, Games, Movies and Books.

New Deals Daily

Google is partnering with developers of top-performing apps and games on the Store to add new deals every day.

The feature is a convenient addition since typically users would have to go to an app or a games page and look for the deals there.

Deal Types

Gamers can find limited-time deals on in-game items.

Other apps can feature their rewards and bundled offers on the tab such as free rides or deliveries.

The tab will also feature sales on movies and books.

To promote new apps, free 30-day trials for new users and other extended trials at no cost can also be found under the Offers tab.

Android Games On Windows

Google also launched a limited testing version of the Play Store app which would bring Android games to Windows PCs.

Called Google Play Games, it is presently available in beta in Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan.

Windows PC users can play popular Android games like Mobile Legends, Summoners War, State of Survival, and Three Kingdoms Tactics.

Better Gaming Experience

A unique feature it offers is seamless gameplay sessions between a phone, tablet, Chromebook, and Windows PC.

This means that one can easily resume their games between multiple devices.

The idea behind putting Android games on PCs is to take advantage of larger screens with mouse and keyboard inputs.

The seamless switching between multiple devices is also convenient since progress in gameplay or achievements won’t be lost when switching devices.
