Google is all set to open its fourth office right here in Pune! In fact, hiring has also begun for the search engine giant’s office in Pune.

India is now one of the very few countries in Asia Pacific where the company operates two Google Cloud regions.

Google To Launch Fourth Office In Pune

The first “Googlers”, as per Anil Bhansali, VP of Cloud Engineering, India, Google Cloud, will be in the Cloud Product Engineering, Technical Support and Global Delivery Center organizations.

He has stated that the teams will be assisting in building advanced enterprise cloud technologies in collaboration with global engineering teams, provide real-time technical advice, and deliver product and implementation expertise to customers. 

As per him, this will help customers “turn to Google Cloud for as their trusted partner in their digital transformation journey.”

This expansion is reportedly the newest one in a line-up of investments by Google Cloud with the intent of customer growth and valued offerings to various organizations.

How To Apply Open Roles In Google?

He has stated that the new location will be opening in the second half of 2022, but the hiring will begin  in Gurgaon, Hyderabad and Bangalore. If you are interested in being an employee of Google, you can find out all the details about open roles on Google Careers.

He said, “India has long been a hub for technology and innovation, and the strong talent pool here makes it a strategic location for Google Cloud to invest in our cloud infrastructure, grow our operations and expand our workforce to support our growing customer base.”

Bhansali also stated that the company has hired engineering talent over the last year to join the Development Center. These new employees are expected to support and help build advanced cloud technologies in collaboration with global engineering teams at Google.

The company launched the Delhi NCR cloud region in July 2021, in addition to the MeitY-empanelled Mumbai cloud region. In October 2021, Google Cloud also promised that it would train more than 40 million new people globally on Google Cloud skills as a part of our Cloud Skills.
