Redmi will launch two new phones in India: Redmi 9 Activ and Redmi 9A. The company is gearing up to add to the current Redmi 9 lineup, Redmi 9 Activ and Redmi 9A Sport, according to a new report. Xiaomi unveiled Redmi 9 and Redmi 9A last year in the country, and the upcoming Redmi phones will succeed the devices offering additional storage and colour options.
Redmi 9 Activ and 9A Sport will basically be based on Redmi 9 and Redmi 9A.
As per the report, the new Redmi phones, Redmi 9 Activ and 9A Sport will come in some interesting colour combinations as Metallic Purple and Metallic Blue.
Redmi 9 Activ Specifications, Features
Redmi 9 Activ will run on MediaTek Helio G35 chipset, to be available in two storage configurations: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. Redmi 9 Activ will come in a new Metallic Purple colour. It will have a 6.53-inch HD+ display along with 13MP dual rear camera setup.
The device will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery, and may support 18W fast charging.
Redmi 9A Sport Specifications, Features
Redmi 9A Sport will be available in a Metallic Blue color option, will come in 2GB RAM with 32GB storage and 3GB RAM with 32GB storage variants. The device will come with the same 6.53-inch HD+ display, Helio G25 chipset, 13MP rear camera and 5,000mAh battery.
Redmi 9A price may start at around Rs 9,000 in India.
