Redmi 9, Redmi 9A, and Redmi 9C have been leaked. The Redmi 9 series specifications and prices are out, and the devices are set to come in a short period of time. Redmi 9 is going to be the top-model of the series, while Redmi 9A will be the most affordable one.
Redmi 9 has already been spotted on the BIS certification hinting at an imminent launch.
Redmi 9A, Redmi 9C India launch may happen at the same time, or sometime later. Tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore revealed the Redmi 9 series specs and price on Twitter. Redmi 9 will be the mid-end model while Redmi 9C and Redmi 9A will be affordable budget phones.

The Redmi 9 series phones will come with almost similar features with some changes in terms of hardware. All the three Redmi 9 phones will feature a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display. Redmi 9 will sport a Full HD+ display offering a screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels.
In comparison, Redmi 9C and Redmi 9A will feature an HD+ display only offering a screen resolution of 720 x 1,600 pixels.
Additionally, all three Redmi 9 phones will feature a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, gyroscope, light sensor, proximity sensor, USB Type-C port, 3.5mm audio jack and infrared blaster.
Under the hood, Redmi 9A will be powered by much-affordable MediaTek chip, the Helio A25 SoC chip. It will pair with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage onboard. Redmi 9C is said to run on Helio G35 with 3GB of RAM and 64GB storage. Finally, the top-end Redmi 9 will house the mid-range Helio G70 SoC with 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage.
All the Redmi 9 models will feature dual nano-SIM slots with a dedicated microSD card slot for further expansion of memory up to 512GB. Redmi 9C may come in two variants: Redmi 9C NFC and the other without NFC.
The Redmi 9 series phones will have different camera setups. Starting with the entry-level Redmi 9A, it will sport a single 13MP rear camera, while Redmi 9C NFC edition is said to feature a dual camera setup featuring a 13MP sensor with a 2MP secondary sensor.
The non-NFC Redmi 9C could be the global version which may sport an additional 2MP shooter.
The top-end Redmi 9 will have a four camera setup at the back. The quad rear camera system will come with a 13MP primary sensor, 8MP secondary sensor, 8MP tertiary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. Upfront, all thr Redmi 9 series phones will feature a 5MP sensor.
All the three Redmi 9 series handsets: Redmi 9, Redmi 9A and Redmi 9C will pack a massive 5,000mAh battery. The leak doesn’t include any fast charging support, though the top-end Redmi 9 may support some sort of fast charging without a fast charger in the box.
Pricing, Launch: Redmi 9 Price, Redmi 9A Price, Redmi 9C Price
As per the leak, Redmi 9 price will start at around EUR 160 to 180 (approx. Rs 13,000), while the mid-end Redmi 9C price is said to start between Euro 130 to150 (approx. Rs 10,040). The Redmi 9 India price may vary including Redmi 9C and Redmi 9A.
Redmi 9A price will start between Euro 100 to 120 (approx. Rs 8,425).
Redmi 9 launch may happen soon given the company has already hinted at the device launching multiple times now. Xiaomi may announce Redmi 9 series later in June or early July. Redmi 9A India launch will happen alongside Redmi 9C and Redmi 9 some days apart or at the same time.
