Tata Launching A New Car On August 4: Is It Rs 5 Lakh SUV Or Tiago’s New Avatar? Top Speculations…

The stage is set. Cameras are ready to flash. Invitations have been sent out. The whole automobile industry is looking forward to the upcoming unveiling of the new Tata Vehicle. No one knows which vehicle is going to be launched. The industry is ripe with speculations.

New vehicle launch during uncertain times

India has been going through massive turbulence. It recently witnessed two consecutive waves of coronavirus outbreaks. Under these uncertain times, car manufacturing companies have been tight-handed to release new car models.

Even Tata released a new Tata Safari which was based on Harrier. The vehicle was well received. Even though the car manufacturer has been wary about launching a new model in recent troubled times, the situation has been improving for the last few weeks. This improvement in the conditions is giving automakers to launch new models.

Tata released a cryptic statement

“Block your date on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, to witness the launch of the #Tough and #Sporty avatar of something seriously fun”.

The ‘Serious Fun’ is resembling the sound of Tiago. Hence the probability of the new product being the BSVI compliant Tiago NRG is high. At the same time, the thought of the possibility of sportier Tiago using the i-Turbo 1.2-liter petrol engine also crosses mind.

But, what to make of the “#Tough” word Tata mentioned? This made us think if it would be the base-spec Harrier diesel or the long-awaited petrol-powered version of the mid-size SUV.

Till now the persona variant is available in Safari only. So maybe now, Harrier might be in the line to get the same variant. So many possibilities can be made out of this cryptic statement. What Tata has in the bag for us, only August 4, will tell.
