Full List Of 392 Special Trains From Oct 20 For Diwali, Dussehra, Durga Pujo, Chatth Puja

In the start of this month,we’d informed you about the Railway Board Chairman and CEO VK Yadav’s announcement in a press conference about the Indian Railways to introduce 200 special trains from Oct 15 to Nov 30, for facilitating travel in the festive season.

As a follow up to such Festival trains, the Ministry of Railways has finally approved the Zonal Railways’ proposal to add 196 pairs, or 392 Festival Special trains, yesterday (Tuesday).

These trains will be operable from October 20 to November 30.

Fare and Destinations

The Indian Railways have informed that ticket fares of such trains will be the same as special trains operated by the Ministry earlier.

While, the timing of these trains will be as per regular trains, the Zonal Railways shall be notifying the complete schedule well in advance.

Yadav claims that the decision to introduce/start new trains comes during a time when Railways witnesses a heavy rush from all over the country, during the festival season.

These 392 special trains will run for destinations like Kolkata, Patna, Varanasi and Lucknow, among others.

According to the order issued on Tuesday, Railways have declared that these special trains will run at a speed of 55kmph.
