Hiring For Work From Home Jobs Increased By 3 Times: Naukri.com Report
An online job portal, Naukri.com, has released a report that clearly states that the employers hiring people to work from homes has increased by 3 times as compared to the time prior to the lockdown.
The report also states that those jobs which required people to come to office to carry out their work can also be accomplished from the safety and security of their homes.
Pawan Goyal, Chief Business Officer at Naukri.com said, “It’s also interesting to note that traditional, office-based or on-ground roles such as sales/ business development and customer care agents are now being offered with WFH options.”
Also, the report reveals that the percentage contribution of work from home jobs has increased by 4 times in 2020. Apparently, people have been searching for work from home jobs since the beginning of April. The keywords ‘work from home’ has also been at the top of the list of most searched keywords by jobseekers in the timespan of the last five months on Naukri.com.
Work From Home Jobs Increased By 7 Times
As per reports, the number of work from home jobs has gone up by 7 times in applications and the last few months as compared to the time before COVID-19 disease.
The deadly disease COVID-19 requires people to maintain social distancing so as to limit the spreading of the disease any further. Employers understand the criticality of the situation now and have also started offering work from home jobs to candidates.
Reports have also shown that flexibility and better control over personal and professional lives yield better results on their performance and productivity, which is why employers arent doubting the quality of work if their employees are working from home as well.
