Mi Note 10
Xiaomi India CEO Manu Kumar Jain has tweeted confirming the launch in India. Mi Note 10 with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage starts at EUR 549 (around Rs 43,200). Mi Note 10 and the Mi Note 10 Pro come with a similar display sized at 6.47-inch. It’s a Full HD+ AMOLED display offering a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels.
Mi Note 10 comes with 6GB of RAM, while the Mi Note 10 Pro packs 8GB of RAM along with 128GB storage and 256GB storage respectively. Both the Mi Note 10 smartphones Pro run on MIUI 11.
Redmi K30 (May Launch As Poco X2 In India)
Succeeding Redmi K20, the new Redmi K30 will launch in India in 2020. With an all new design on the out, the Redmi K30 features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ display offering 120Hz refresh rate in an 20:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone comes with dual hole-punch cameras upfront with curved edges on the sides. The 4G variant of the Redmi K30 will come to India alongside the 5G model running on Snapdragon 765G.
Redmi K30 features a rear quad camera setup including the brand new 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor, the successor to the popular 48MP Sony IMX586.
Mi Note 10 Pro
Both Mi Note 10 smartphones are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G processor. Mi Note 10 series will become the first 108MP camera smartphones to launch in the country. Both the Mi Note 10 models are expected to launch in India, while the prices are expected under 30,000. Both Mi Note 10 devices comes with a five camera setup at the back.
Mi Note 10 devices feature a 108MP primary image sensor, 20MP wide-angle sensor, a 5MP telephoto camera with 5X optical zoom, a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x zoom and finally a 2MP macro camera.
Poco X2
Poco X2 has been officially confirmed by the soon turned independent company. Instead of sharing the teaser directly, Poco chose to officially confirm Poco X2 in a cryptically teased video. The name the video confirms Poco F2 via its twitter handle. Set to launch as Poco F1 successor, the Poco X2 will come with upgraded features and latest top specs on a budget.
The upcoming Poco X2 will come with a 120Hz display, running on the latest Android 10 OS, powered by a 1.80GHz octa-core SoC with 8GB of RAM. Poco X2 will launch on February 4.
Samsung Galaxy M31
Samsung Galaxy M31 and Galaxy M11 has recently been linked, they will run on Android 10 out of the box. The leaked model number of Galaxy M31 spotted on Geekbench and the certification site are the same. Galaxy M31 is expected to be powered by the in-house Exynos 9611 SoC, while some rumours say Snapdragon 665 SoC, but chances are high that Galaxy M31 will come with the Exynos chip.
Galaxy M31 is rumoured to come with a quad camera system featuring a 48-megapixel primary sensor inside the four camera system. Galaxy M31 will house a massive 6,000mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy S11
The Samsung Galaxy S11 series will launch in February, and the leaks have already revealed pretty much everything about both the devices: the standard Galaxy S11 and Galaxy S11 Plus. There will be three smartphones in the upcoming Galaxy S11 series as the current generation: Galaxy S11, Galaxy S11E and Galaxy S11 Plus.
Samsung Galaxy S11 series will succeed the current Galaxy S10 flagships with upgraded internals including top cameras.
Samsung Galaxy S11 Plus
If we go by the leaked pictures, we see an upgraded rear panel design. Samsung Galaxy S11 and S11 Plus will feature Dynamic AMOLED panels with Quad HD+ resolution. It also has been tipped that Galaxy S11 will come with a five camera module in a rectangular box shaped module.
Samsung Galaxy S11 Plus is expected to feature a 108MP camera as main lens with 5X optical zoom and other sensors for different purposes.
Realme 6
Realme 6 leaks are already out, and it will come with a penta camera setup at the back. The current four cameras will remain standard Realme 6 will come with a primary camera sensor, ultra wide angle lens, macro lens and a depth sensor for portrait shots and a fifth additional lens.
Realme 6 will have five cameras at the back with different sensors for different purposes. Realme 6 will run on a more enhanced processor, the Snapdragon 710.
Realme 6 Pro
As Realme 6, the Realme 6 Pro will also come with a five camera system and a mid-range Qualcomm flagship processor, expected to be Snapdragon 730. As Realme 6, the Realme 6 Pro will also come with a penta camera system at the back. As the previous generations, Realme 6 series will also include two smartphones: Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro.
The fifth camera sensor will offer high-end zooming functions with dedicated periscope infused zoom lens or could be a ToF sensor.
Samsung Galaxy M21
A few weeks back a report came out claiming that Samsung is working Galaxy M21. Successor to the Galaxy M20 series, the Samsung Galaxy M21 will feature upgraded features and specs on a budget. The smartphone was spotted with a model number of SM-M215F. Galaxy M21 will be available in 64GB and 128GB models running on Android 10 OS.
Samsung Galaxy M21 is expected to be powered by Exynos 9609 or Exynos 9611 chipset with a triple rear camera system.
Samsung Galaxy M11
The same Galaxy M21 report further gave out hints about other upcoming Galaxy M-series phones as well including Samsung Galaxy M11. The company have already unveiled Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M10s under the M10 series, and Galaxy M11 will succeed both.
To be launched under 10000, Galaxy M11 will come with improved internals and hardware. Galaxy M11 will sport a rear three camera system.
Redmi 9
A new Redmi phone was recently leaked claimed to be Redmi 9. The device said to pack the MediaTek G70 SoC paired with at least 4GB of RAM. The report adds that Redmi 9 will have a few upgrades over the predecessor including hardware, camera and battery. Redmi 8 came out only a few weeks back, and the successor may launch in mid 2020.
MediaTek Helio G70 SoC is yet to be announced, and it’s going to be a budget chip with mid-range capabilities.

Redmi K30 Pro
With the first smartphone of the Redmi K30 series already out, the next K30 Pro is set to arrive in 2020.
Redmi K20 Pro in India has been quite successful, and it’s currently a bestseller in the entry premium flagship segment. Just as Redmi K30, the Redmi K30 Pro will also pack in a wide range of top specs.
Redmi K30 Pro will don the latest Qualcomm flagship chip: Snapdragon 865 along with other premium features.
Redmi Note 9
A few weeks back some reports floated that Xiaomi might not be reviving the Redmi Note series anymore, hence Redmi Note 9 smartphones might not be made ever. It was being considered that the current Mi Note 10 series will replace the Redmi Note 9 series, but they devices of two different segments, and don’t clash with each other.
It’s quite affirmative that Redmi Note 9 series exists, and they will launch in the first quarter of 2020.
Redmi Note 9 Pro
New reports have surfaced that the newly launched Snapdragon 720G may power the upcoming Redmi Note 9 Pro. Snapdragon 720G is an enhanced version of the Snapdragon 710 with up to 60 percent added CPU performance. Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro will succeed Redmi Note 8 series in the under Rs 10,000 and Rs 15,000 segments respectively. We might get to see better features backed by flagship processors, better camera systems, gaming enhancements and more.
Redmi Note 9 Pro launch will happen soon, and both the Redmi Note 9 smartphones: Note 9 and Note 9 Pro are expected to drop in the first quarter of 2020.
iPhone 9
iPhone 9 is set to launch in India soon, and it will be available at a cheaper price than other premium priced flagships in the same segment. iPhone 9 testing is complete, and is ready to hit the markets. iPhone 9 will come with the specs and features as iPhone 11, but at a cheaper price tag. The renders hint at as similar features as iPhone 11, sporting a 4.7-inch display with an iPhone 8 like design. iPhone 9 will have a single camera inside the circular module as on iPhone 8.
The device will come with a single main camera, probably the 12-megapixel camera as the current iPhone 11 series. Up front, iPhone 9 will have thick bezels on both sides with a physical home button, same as iPhone 8.
OnePlus 8
The OnePlus 8 live images have already been leaked, and the new OnePlus 8 smartphones will don a new punch-hole design technology to offer a notch-less viewing experience. Both OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro will come with a punch-hole camera up front without a pop-up sensor or notch as previous devices.
Also, they will have an extra camera sensor, so it will be the first OnePlus smartphones to feature a quad camera setup.
OnePlus 8 Pro
OnePlus 8 Pro live images are out, and it’s sure that OnePlus is ditching the pop-up sensor with the OnePlus 8 series. The company introduced the pop-up sensor with the OnePlus 7 Pro for the first time, and then followed it up with the OnePlus 7T Pro. Leaked by True-Tech, the prototype OnePlus 8 Pro smartphone reveals a punch-hole on the display. The OnePlus 8 is said to come with a similar punch-hole as the OnePlus 8 Pro.
An upgrade over the current 90Hz refresh rate, OnePlus 8 Pro will come with a more enhanced display with 120Hz refresh rate to offer an enriched super smooth experience. It’s not the first smartphone to come with a 120Hz display.
Realme 6i
Realme 6i has been certified on Singapore’s IMDA (Infocomm Media Development Authority). While the certification hasn’t revealed anything about Realme 6i, it confirms the existence. Realme 6i will be available with the model number RMX2040. The company is known to bring in successors in quick succession, and hence Realme 6i will soon launch in a few months after Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro are unveiled.
As other Realme i smartphones, the Realme 6i is going to be toned down Realme series smartphones with some inferior specs. Coming to Realme 6i specs, Realme 6i will be a toned-down version of the upcoming Realme 6.
Realme C3
There have been multiple Realme smartphones certified by this Singapore regulatory body including Realme C3, successor to the entry budget Realme C2. Realme C3 and Realme C3s have been certified in Singapore and Thailand respectively. Realme C2 ticks in all the options backed by the best of features.
Realme C2 sports an diamond-cut pattern design on the out made out of plastic. It looks premium and comes with a HD+ water drop notch display.
Samsung Galaxy A11 / Galaxy A11s
Samsung will continue with the Galaxy A-series streak in 2020. The Galaxy A phones will continue with successors in 2020, and in particular the under 10000 category will have the Galaxy A11 and Galaxy A21 series. Samsung has already trademarked the new Galaxy A-series for launch in 2020.

Samsung Galaxy A21 / Galaxy A21s
Samsung will unveil multiple Galaxy A-series phones in 2020. The company has different A series phones from A10 to A90 with multiple upgraded versions launched later. In 2020, Samsung will be bringing Galaxy A21 in 2020 alongside other Galaxy A smartphones as Galaxy A31, Galaxy A41, Galaxy A51 and more.
The second half of 2020 will have the upgraded editions of the current ones like under 10000 there will be Galaxy A11s and Galaxy A21s.
Samsung Galaxy M51
Samsung is said to be already producing Galaxy M51, the Galaxy M40 successor. Samsung has reportedly started production of the SM-M515 model, hinted at being the Galaxy M51. The company may plan to bring in Galaxy M50 and Galaxy M51 together, or only Galaxy M51 in 2020.
Unlike other Galaxy M smartphones, Galaxy M51 will be available on both online and offline platforms. Samsung is supposedly not planning to launch Galaxy M50, and bring Galaxy M51 directly in 2020.

Realme X3
Realme has already unveiled Realme X2 and Realme X2 Pro, and they will be upgrading the current mid-range flagship Realme devices in less than two quarters. Realme X3 will be a part of the earlier Realme X series and a much-upgraded Realme XT model. Realme X3 is expected to come with a better display and other specs.
The company may opt for a punch-hole display this time for Realme X3 and Realme X3 Pro as the upcoming Realme 6 smartphones.
Mi A4
The Mi A series has been a big hit for Xiaomi in India and abroad. The Google powered Xiaomi Android One smartphones have all done pretty well in the Indian market, and currently Mi A3 is one of the best budget smartphones available in the country. The company will soon be upgrading it with a new successor, Mi A4.
Mi A4 is expected to be an all-rounder offering some good cameras, hardware, battery and performance with the goodness of stock Android. Mi A4 India launch is expected in the second half of 2020.
Redmi Y4
Succeeding Redmi Y3, the next Redmi Y smartphone in also expected in 2020. Being a selfie-centric series, Redmi Y4 will come with a top-notch selfie camera and AI modes to offer good front camera photography. Redmi Y4 won’t leave out other parameters as well, so it’s going to be a balanced budget smartphone.
Redmi Y series have done reasonably well in the Indian market, and the same is again expected with Redmi Y4 in India.
Vivo U30
Vivo has been able to do well with the U series, and it’s expected to widen up the line-up in 2020 with more Vivo U smartphones. Vivo U30 will launch in the first half of 2020 with upgraded features and internals. Vivo U20 currently features a Full HD+ 6.53-inch display, running on a Snapdragon 675 SoC.
Vivo U20 has a three camera system powered by a 16-megapixel primary sensor, backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery.
Vivo Z2 Pro
Vivo has tasted big success with the Z series in India. Both Vivo Z1 Pro and Vivo Z1X have done quite well in the Indian market, and the company is expected to bring in two successors under the Vivo Z2 series: Vivo Z2 Pro for the mid-budget category under 15,000 and Vivo Z2 under 10,000.
While nothing hasn’t been officially confirmed by the company, Vivo could be bringing Vivo Z2 in the first half of 2020.
Redmi 9A
Redmi 9 was recently leaked, and Redmi 9A is expected to be unveiled within the same time as Redmi 9. Redmi 9A will come with better features and specs, and will be launched under 10000. Redmi 8A runs on Snapdragon 439 chip coupled with upto 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage supporting up to 512GB.
Redmi 8A features an 8MP primary back camera, 6.2-inch HD+ notched display, 5,000mAh battery and Android 9 Pie based on MIUI.
iPhone 12
While the next generation iPhones are still almost a year away, the leaks have already started to pour in for the next iPhone 12 series. Each variant of the upcoming iPhone 12 series will come with 5G support out of the box.
Also some leaks suggest that the iPhone 12 series will have smartphones with quad camera systems, probably only the top-end models.
Asus Max Pro M3
Asus Max Pro M2 worked well in India, while Max Pro M1 continues to sell, launched back in 2018. Asus Max Pro M3 is expected in 2020, a continuation of the successful budget series by Asus. Max Pro M2 came with a 6.26-inch Full HD+ notched display with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection on top running on Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC.
Max Pro M2 dons a 12MP + 5MP dual camera system at the back featuring a Sony IMX486 sensor with a huge 5,000 mAh battery.
Motorola Moto G9
Motorola may turn aggressive with the pricing of its phones in 2020 in a bid to pick up some pace. The Moto G series was a big hit since it came to India, and eventually lost to the Chinese counterparts. Motorola Moto G9 in 2020 could be launched at an aggressive pricing, expected under 10000 category.
Motorola Moto G9 is expected to feature a quad camera system, Snapdragon 700-series chip, big battery and Android 10 OS out of the box.
iPhone 12 Pro, iPhone 12 Pro Max
The company recently embraced the three camera setup for the latest iPhone 11 variants, and it can soon upgrade to a quad camera system as per the flying rumours. The iPhone 12 models will feature an additional camera module, probably a 3D time of flight (ToF) sensor to gauge three-dimensional depth.
It will act as a rear 3D sensing system for iPhone 12 Pro to offer better pictures. iPhone 12 Pro may also feature a radar-luke sensor as Soli on Pixel 4 with upgraded 120Hz displays.

Realme 6S
The company recently updated it’s Realme 5 series with an updated version of the budget model, Realme 5S. It was an upgraded Realme 5 with a special colour option and a much improved camera sensor. As Realme 5S, the company will also launch a Realme 6S in 2020, a few months after the launch of Realme 6 series smartphones.
While we are yet to know what’s going to be there, but Realme 6S is just going to be a minimal upgrade over Realme 6.
Realme 7
While Realme is yet to unveil the next generation Realme 6 smartphones, the devices are about to arrive, within a month or two we will have Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro in our hands, and the succeeding Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro within another quarter.
Similarly, next year the company will bring in the successors in the later half of 2020, probably by the end of the first half of the year: Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro.
Realme 7 Pro
Realme is known to upgrade its devices in quick successions, and hence Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro won’t take much time to launch. For Realme 6 and Realme 6 Pro, the company will offer rear penta camera systems, punch-hole displays and newly upgraded Snapdragon chips.
Both Realme 7 and Realme 7 Pro will come with penta camera systems offering some top notch photography on a budget.
Realme X3 Pro
With the penta camera fever catching up, both Realme X3 and Realme X3 Pro might come with penta camera powered rear camera systems. Realme X3 Pro will succeed X2 Pro with an expected design upgrade and some additional functionalities.
Both Realme X3 and Realme X3 Pro will arrive in the second of 2020. Realme X3 Pro may feature the 108MP Samsung sensor.
Realme U2
The company first unveiled Realme U1 back in 2018 December, and it was Realme’s first selfie-centric smartphone. While Realme U series hasn’t seen any upgrade in 2019, a successor in expected in 2020. There has been a few leaks about Realme U2 in the past, but all turned out to be fake. Even in mid-2019, the company refreshed the Realme U1 series with a new 3GB/64GB model.
While the other Realme series will continue to have upgrades, the Realme U series may finally get a successor in 2020 with Realme U2, another selfie-centric Realme smartphone.
Google Pixel 5
There’s a lot riding on Pixel 5 in 2020. It could be the last year for Pixel smartphones if they fail again. Both Pixel 3 and Pixel 4 series have not been able to generate much buzz among smartphone buyers, and Google will try to make it up with Google Pixel 5 and Pixel 5XL.
In spite of being good smartphones, the Pixel still aren’t the bestsellers in the market.
Google Pixel 5XL
A new design is expected, and the company may choose to completely transform Pixel 5 smartphones from current Pixel 4 series of smartphones. Google Pixel 5 XL might get more attractive in terms of features and design with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 platform under the hood.
With camera being the major USP, Google will again keep the focus on cameras for Pixel 5 and Pixel 5XL.
Samsung Galaxy Note 11
Samsung Galaxy Note 11 will launch in the final quarter of 2020, and Samsung will have already started work on the flagship. The leaked concept design of Galaxy S11 hints at a full-screen display without any notch or punch-hole, which may also inspire the Galaxy Note 11.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 will power Note 11 in the US, and the top-end Exynos chip in other countries including India.
Samsung Galaxy Note 11 Plus
Galaxy Note 11 will have certain improvements over the current Note 10 alongside a 5G model. As Note 10 series, the Note 11 will also have two models, a standard and a plus variant. Currently Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is the best camera smartphone available in the market.
Coming to optics, Galaxy Note 11 might upgrade over the triple-lens setup with a quad or penta camera system.
OnePlus 8T
In the last quarter of 2020, we will have the upgraded OnePlus 8 smartphones: OnePlus 8T and OnePlus 8T Pro. The company is trying to move up the funnel to establish itself as a more premium brand, and OnePlus 8T is going to focus on cameras.
OnePlus 8T will offer more minimalistic design backed by the top features.
OnePlus 8T Pro
The OnePlus T models generally come with slight upgrades, and hence mostly it’s going to be the same between OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8T, and OnePlus 8 Pro and OnePlus 8T Pro. OnePlus 8T smartphones will have similar design and features as OnePlus 8 models like the punch-hole camera upfront, quad camera and build.
The OnePlus 8T Pro will have a change with the hardware and some additional functionalities.
