The much-hyped Redmi Note 8T has been finally leaked in full, and it’s sure that Xiaomi is working on an upgraded version of the current Redmi Note 8. As Redmi Note 7S succeeded the standard Note 7, the leaked Redmi Note 8T will take over the current Redmi Note 8.

Xiaomi India unveiled Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro last week.

The news of Note 8T came out last month, and it’s going to be a Redmi Note 8 successor.

The company will supposedly be taking a break from Redmi Note smartphones next year, and there won’t be a Redmi Note 9 series in 2020. So, Redmi Note 8T may officially become the last Redmi Note smartphone from Xiaomi for now.

Redmi Note 8T Full Specs: What’s In The Box?

It’s pretty much confirmed that a new Redmi Note 8 variant is on the way, and Xiaomi is working on Note 8T, as per multiple reports. As Redmi Note 7S was launched to succeed the standard Note 7, the leaked Redmi Note 8T will take over the current Redmi Note 8.

The biggest upgrade is expected in the form of a better processor, a new camera sensor and some additional features.

Redmi Note 8T will don the slightly better Sony 48MP IMX586 sensor instead of Samsung GM1 48MP lens on the current Redmi Note 8. Almost everything has been leaked about Redmi Note 8T on the internet, here’s everything you need to know.

Redmi Note 8T: Design, Display, Hardware, Camera, Battery

The leaked renders revealed the specs, design and other additional details. Redmi Note 8T will come with the same design language as Redmi Note 8 with some changes inside. So, in terms of looks and build quality, Redmi Note 8T will look the same as Redmi Note 8.

Redmi Note 8T will be available in the same gradient colour scheme design with four cameras on the back, slightly V-shaped notch, slim bezels, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, glass design body and curved sides.

Redmi Note 8T will launch three colours combination. Redmi Note 8 also comes in three colour options in India: Neptune Blue, Moonlight White and Space Black. In terms of specifications, Redmi Note 8T and Redmi Note 8 will not differ much. 

Previously the Redmi Note 8T was leaked to be powered by Qualcomm’s gaming-centric Snapdragon 730G chip. In comparison with Note 8 Pro, Snapdragon 730G chip offers added AI-powered gaming features with higher clock speed and better performance.

We still don’t know whether the company will be adding a better processor or not, but chances are there.

For now, the company is yet to reveal any official details about the upcoming Redmi Note 8T. It’s for sure that a Redmi Note device is in the making, and Redmi Note 8T will soon be teased by the company.

Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 8 Pro is now available in India, and the devices have been received very well. The prices are very aggressive and Xiaomi will like to take on the same path with Redmi Note 8T. The device will be launch soon in India at a very aggressive pricing range.

Pricing & Launch: Redmi Note 8T India Launch, Redmi Note 8T India Price

Redmi Note 8T India launch is expected around December or early 2020. The company just unveiled Redmi Note 8 series in the country last week, and hence the Redmi Note 8T India launch will take some time. It’s safe to assume an early 2020 timeline for Redmi Note 8T launch in India.

As per the leaked reports, Redmi Note 8T India price will start at around Rs 18,000, and the base model may start at Rs 16,999 (approx).

But, if the Redmi Note 8T doesn’t come with Snapdragon 730G, then Redmi Note 8T price in India will be close to the current Redmi Note 8 pricing, maybe a thousand rupees extra. As Note 8 series, Redmi Note 8T India pricing is going to be very aggressive as well, expected to start at around Rs 11,000.
