After a dull phase since the US trade blacklisting, the company is getting back to its feet across the globe. Both Huawei and Honor smartphones went through some bad period, but it’s again working on an aggressive strategy to take on the market and competitors.

Huawei currently only one smartphone which comes with a pop-up selfie camera, the Huawei P Smart Z.

India currently saw the launch of two mid-range pop-up selfie smartphones, Realme X and Redmi K20. Honor too will soon compete with Realme and Redmi with its own pop-up sensor smartphone at under 20,000 rupees.

Huawei Pop-Up Sensor Smartphone: What’s In The Box?

Huawei currently offers one smartphone with a pop-up sensor, the P Smart Z. Probably the same device will come to India, possibly under a different name. The original smartphone comes with a 6.59-inch Full HD+ LCD display. On the out, the Honor pop-up sensor smartphone offers a 3D curved panel with a Pixel-like dual tone design.

Huawei P Smart Z runs on Kirin 710F chipset. The chip pairs with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The device supports expandable storage up to 512GB.

At the back, Huawei P Smart Z features a dual rear camera system. The dual setup consists of a 16MP primary camera and 2MP depth camera. On top, the pop-up mechanism will pack in a 16MP selfie camera backed by AI features on both the front and back.

Huawei P Smart Z will come with Android Pie with EMUI 9.0 on top. The system will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery supporting a Type-C port.

Pop-Up Sensor Smartphones Under 20,000 Rupees

India currently offers only a handful of pop-up sensor smartphones, primarily in the midrange category. The upcoming Huawei smartphone could also be an Honor device, or an original device under Huawei. The Realme X is currently the cheapest among all the devices. There’s the new Redmi K20 as well, but it’s available starting at Rs 21,999 rupees.

Honor will probably launch its own smartphone at around Realme X price.

The Huawei pop-up sensor smartphone will be priced in the sub-Rs 20,000, or maybe under it. The details are not out, but its most probably going to be the Huawei P Smart Z. It’s going to be the company’s first smartphone with a pop-up camera. It first launched in Italy in May.

The Huawei smartphone will probably be in line with Realme X. The exact India is not known yet, but the pop-up selfie camera would be available at under Rs 20,000. Vivo was one of the first brands to launch a pop-up selfie smartphone, with Xiaomi and Realme joining the list.
