Redmi To Launch 5G Phone Under Rs 20,000; Realme X India Launch On July 9 Confirmed

Xiaomi has always been a leader when it comes to bringing in innovation at an affordable price. After Realme announced that it’s making a 5G budget device, it’s now Redmi who has confirmed that they have a 5G device in the pipeline to be launched at under 20,000 rupees.

The market already has multiple 5G supported smartphones, but none come at a budget price.

After Realme announced that they are making a 5G device, we expected a budget 5G device in the future. But with now Redmi confirming the price range, we have an idea how the Realme and Redmi 5G devices would cost. Also, the company has announced the Realme X India launch date, and it’s happening on July 9.

Redmi 5G Smartphone Under Rs 20,000: What’s In The Box?

The newly separated independent brand Redmi have shared a sensational news at the Shanghai MWC 2019, officially confirming a 5G smartphone at under 20,000 rupees (converted). The company currently has a single flagship available in the market, Redmi K20 Pro. It runs on Snapdragon 855 and the Qualcomm chip has a separate 5G variant.

The company brand head Lu Weibing confirmed that the two independent brands under Xiaomi: Redmi and Black Shark on working on 5G supported smartphones.

Interestingly, the Redmi 5G smartphone would cost less than 20,000 rupees (converted), while Black Shark will follow up its current gaming-centric series.

Both the 5G devices under Redmi and Black Shark are already in the making, and they will launch soon. The Redmi 5G smartphone is going to be a budget device, and will cost as the newly launched regular Redmi K20.

Realme X India Launch On July 9: Special Spider-Man Edition

Realme X India launch date is out, and the smartphone is coming to India on July 9. The company launched the same device in China last month, and it’s coming to India on July 9. Realme X India price will match up with the China pricing starts at CNY 1,499 (around Rs 15,000) for the base model.

In India, Realme X may get an upgrade, and might come with a Snapdragon 730 processor.

The company is also planning to launch a second device on the same day, and it could be the 64MP camera Realme device.

A special editioned Realme X Spider-Man: Far From Home will also launch on the same day. The company tied up with Sony Pictures previously to launch a new Realme X model with the Spider-Man theme on July 9 in a single variant with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage.

Xiaomi India has officially confirmed the launch of Redmi 7A in India. The company was previously rumoured to be launching a third device during the Redmi K20 series India launch, and it’s true. Redmi 7A will launch in India on the same day as Redmi K20 series.

The exact launch date is not out yet, but the new Redmi devices will launch in India mid-July.

Recently, Redmi 7A launched in a few European markets and in India the device will succeed the popular Redmi 6A directly challenging Realme C2 and other budget smartphones in the range. .
