Redmi K20, K20 Pro Can Be Launched As Poco F2, Poco F2 Pro In India? TENAA Listing Reveals 12 GB RAM Variant For Redmi K20 Pro!

If you’ve been well up with the trends of smartphones last year, then you must be knowing the market thrift Xiaomi’ s Poco F1 created. It was among the best-selling premium smartphones in India in 2018 and was declared the flagship killer for Xiaomi.

The Redmi flagship smartphone, Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro has just been launched in China and will soon be making their international debuts, including the Indian market. We’ve already filled you in with all the specs of these two Redmi beasts. What comes in as a new revelation from TENAA is a third variant that will blow your minds.

Redmi K20 and K20 Pro Under Another Brand Names?

Xiaomi has been trying to step up its game in the Indian market continually, with its Mi and Redmi series but both of these flagships have been failing to create an outlasting effect in the Indian market, especially after the OnePlus flagships. However, last year Xiaomi’s new sub-brand, Poco offered powerful phones with complete value for money, bagging the ‘flagship killer’ title.

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi recently announced the K20 and K20 Pro in China and is surely making its way to the Indian markets, as confirmed by Xiaomi India’s MD Manu Kumar Jain. These handsets, however won’t market under the Redmi brand in all the countries. If the reports are to be believed, the K20 and K20 Pro will likely be rebranded globally under another Xiaomi’s sub-brand, Pocophone.

It has been vividly reported that since the Poco series did really well last year, these two beasts will be launched in India as Poco F2 and Poco F2 Pro, at very affordable prices. In the European markets, these phones are likely to be released as Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro.

The Redmi K20 will come with a Snapdragon 730 chipset, while K20 Pro with a Snapdragon 855 chipset. The Poco F2 is launched in the Chinese markets at approximately Rs. 20,000 and will most likely debut at same price in India as well, while F2 Pro’s base variant at Rs. 25,000.

This means that Poco F2 Pro will be the most affordable Snapdragon 855 smartphone to launch in India.

TENAA Listing Reveals a 12GB RAM Version of K20 Pro:

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi just launched K20 and K20 Pro smartphones, some days back and it was well-known in advance that the K20 Pro model would be available in two variants: 6GB and 8GB of RAM. However, it was revealed yesterday by TENAA that there was yet another RAM variant for the Redmi K20 Pro, with 12GB RAM. This variant will most likely have 256GB of built-in storage.

Other than the additional RAM, the rest of the specs should be the same.

TENNA goes further and reveals some new upcoming colour variants as well. There’s pink, white, green, purple, and gray, alongside blue, red, and black hues, again for the K20 Pro.

With Poco F1 being such a huge success, we cannot wait for F2 and F2 Pro to launch in India and see how they perform, or if they live up to their already hyped expectations.
