Realme X Launch Confirmed: Full Specs, Notchless Design, Price, Variants & More!

Realme has confirmed the launch of its very first entry premium flagship smartphone, Realme X in China on May 15. The smartphone is said to launch in three variants sporting a notchless display and pop-up selfie sensor.

Realme X goes against Redmi X (Redmi K20 Pro) directly, and even the upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro as well.

Realme X is slated to launch in China alongside Realme 3 Pro marking Realme’s entry in the country. The pictures posted by the company CMO confirms a completely bezel-less display with a thin chin at the bottom.

Realme X Design Completely Leaked Via Live Pictures

Realme CMO Xu Qi Chase himself posted a picture on Weibo revealing the Realme X’s complete design with the notch-less display. While the image doesn’t reveal what’s on top, but we can safely assume it given no punch-hole cameras on front.

Realme will have a pop-up sensor on top to take care of the video chats and selfies.

The hands-on Realme X image further reveals a completely bezel-less display without any notch and a slight chin at the bottom. The smartphone is quite identical to the design used in Vivo V15 Pro or Oppo F11 Pro.

Realme X will come with a huge full-screen display with very slim bezels to offer a panoramic viewing experience with a impressive screen to body ratio of 91.2 percent.

Realme X Specs & Features: What’s Inside Realme X?

A new leak suggests that Realme X may launch in three variants. A standard version, a youth version and a pro model. The Realme X Pro model will run on the current best Qualcomm chip, the Snapdragon 855 mobile platform.

The regular Realme X will come with a 6.5-inch notch-less display running on  Snapdragon 730 SoC. The smartphone is said to come with 6GB and 8GB RAM with 64GB and 128GB of onboard storage.

Realme X will come with a rear dual-camera setup comprising of a 48MP Sony IMX 586 primary lens with a secondary 5MP depth sensor. Up front, it could be a 25MP sensor.

The Realme X smartphones will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top. The devices will come with VOOC 3.0 fast-charging support.

Realme X Launch In China On May 15 Confirmed: When’s India Launch?

The Realme X China launch will be followed by India launch within a week or so. Realme CEO Madhav Seth has already confirmed the launch of Realme X in India, and it should happen in couple of weeks by the end of May.

Realme is yet to announce anything on the global availability of Realme X.

The smartphone will be available in multiple variants. Starting with the mid-range device, the Realme X series is also expected to launch a toned-down Realme X Youth model.

We need to wait on the exact availability of the devices, and see which ones lands in the country.

Realme X India Price: Realme X Pricing

The regular Realme X will be available in three different models. The base model may start at Yuan 1,599 for 6GB with 64GB storage variant (around Rs 16,450) and Yuan 1,799 for 6GB with 128GB storage variant (around Rs 18,500).

The model model may cost Yuan 1,999 with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage (around Rs 20,550).

Coming to the Realme X Pro with SD 855, the base model with 6GB RAM and 128GB will cost Yuan 2,299 (around Rs 23,650) and the top 8GB+128GB model will cost Yuan 2,599 (around Rs 26,700).
