Poco F2 India Launch: Redmi X To Launch In India As Poco F2?

The Snapdragon 855 Redmi phone will go official on the same day as OnePlus 7 series in China. The Redmi flagship phone is being rumoured to be named as Redmi X, but the company GM recently said, it will have a different name.

The company has confirmed that a Redmi flagship exists, but Redmi X is not the name of the upcoming Redmi smartphone.

The smartphone may not come to India at all. There has been rumours that Redmi X will inspire the next Poco smartphone.

The company actually may launch Redmi X as Poco F2 directly in India according to the growing rumours. Xiaomi has always been hesitant about bringing flagships to India, so Redmi X may not come to it’s largest foreign market.

Poco being its hit entry premium flagship series in India, Redmi X may launch in the country as Poco F2. The second generation Poco F2 is also speculated to launch in the second quarter, so Redmi X may come remodeled as Poco F2 in India.

We need to wait for further concrete information.

Redmi X is soon going to become the cheapest Snapdragon 855 phone backed by three rear cameras, pop-up selfie camera, notch-less display and a gradient design.

The smartphone being dubbed as the cheapest Snapdragon 855 smartphone has caked up the rumour of it launching in India as Poco F2.

While the company is yet to confirm about Poco F2 or anything related to it, it’s official that Redmi X will launch in China on May 14.
