Soon after launching two new super budget smartphones in the country, Realme is now gearing for an all new flagship. The company posted a new promo video on its Weibo account. It’s an unnamed Realme phone with a pop-up sensor on top sporting a notch-less display.

Recently the company also announced its entry into the Chinese market.

And now a teaser via Weibo hints at its next smartphone launch in May. The company has already been rumored to launch a couple of new smartphones next month.

The new flagship teased in the video seem to be a new device for the China launch in May. Realme will start its China journey with its latest India launches: Realme 3 Pro and Realme C2. But the new teaser hints an another all-new device specially for China.

The company previously has been tipped to be working a flagship with a pop-up selfie sensor.

The Realme flagship for China will launch in India as well, but sometime later. The teaser video is from Realme’s official Weibo account, so there’s no doubt of it being fake.

Realme Flagship With Pop Up Selfie Sensor & Notch-Less Display

Soon after Redmi dropped off its own teaser video featuring its own Avengers Endgame flagship, it’s current biggest rival Realme released its own. The Realme phone has a pop-up selfie camera on top sporting a notch-less panoramic full screen display.

The promo video doesn’t reveal much, but we do have a fair idea what it’s going to be like.

The Realme pop-up selfie smartphone will be highly inspired by the in-house Oppo F11 Pro or Vivo V15 Pro. Even OnePlus 7 series will come with the same design technology featuring a pop-up sensor on top.

The smartphone has thin bezels all around and a slight chin down under, quite similar to Oppo F11 Pro. On top, the Realme flagship will come with a pop-up camera system. It’s been placed at the center rising from the top frame.

Realme Flagship: Hardware, Software & Cameras

The Realme flagship is expected to come with a dual camera setup at the back featuring a 48MP lens as its primary sensor. The 46-second teaser shows off a few glimpses of the smartphone emphasizing on the pop-up sensor and performance.

A few recent leaks hint at a Realme phone being powered by the recently launched Qualcomm chip Snapdragon 730 SoC. While the company is yet to confirm any specs, SD 730 seem like a good option for a budget flagship.

Even Xiaomi will be using Snapdragon 730 for its next smartphone in India, expected to be Mi A3.

The video does not reveal what’s there at the back, but it will have a dual camera setup (as spotted on TENAA). The Realme flagship is expected to come with a 6.5-inch AMOLED display. It should also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The smartphone is also said to be backed a 3,680mAh battery supporting fast charge. The Reame flagship is 9.4mm thick with a polycarbonate body on the out.

An alleged smartphone from Realme was also recently certified by Chinese certification site TENAA. It’s expected to the same Realme flagship. It was listed with a 3D glass rear panel and a dual camera setup.

Realme Flagship India Launch: Expected Price In India?

Thee Realme phone with a notch-less display will launch first in China. The teaser being shared via Weibo seems obvious for a China launch first. Realme will also announce the newly launched Realme 3 Pro from India in China, marking the entry in its home market.

The upcoming Realme flagship will be pricier compared to other Realme smartphones, given it’s more premium features and specs.

The Realme pop-up camera phone will launch later in India after launching in China in May or later.

Realme India CEO Madhav Sheth even teased a launch of a smartphone in May at the Realme 3 Pro launch event.

Finally coming to the price, the Realme flagship will definitely cost more than all the smartphones Realme has launched till now. The presence of such premium features should push the price at around Rs 18,000 in the country. The prices will vary depending upon the variants.

Stay tuned for more updates on Realme’s upcoming pop-up camera flagship!
