OnePlus is said to launch three OnePlus 7 smartphones this time: the regular OnePlus 7, a pro variant of the regular model and a 5G variant. The OnePlus 7 Pro will come with the best of specs and the 5G will come with added connectivity functionalities.

The pop-up camera phone is expected to be a feature of the Pro version of OnePlus 7, while the regular model is said to come with the same display as OnePlus 6T.

Pop Up Selfie Camera

OnePlus has been repeatedly leaked and rumoured with a pop-up selfie camera. To attain a higher screen to body ratio, the company is said to include a pop-up selfie sensor on top this time like Oppo R11 Pro or Vivo V15 Pro.

If there are two smartphones, one may come with a pop-up camera and the other with a water drop notch (rumoured).

Full Screen Display

OnePluss 7 will come with a full screen panoramic display this time. The leaks hint at an 6.4-inch flat AMOLED display. OnePlus 7 may come with the water drop notch and the Pro model aka OnePlus 7 Pro may come with a pop-up selfie sensor on top.

OnePlus 7 Pro is rumoured to come with a Quad HD+ Super AMOLED “90hz” Display, while the standard OnePlus 7 will have the regular Full HD+ Super AMOLED display.

Triple Rear Camera System

The confusion still continues whether OnePlus 7 will come with a triple rear camera system or dual cameras. The previous leaks have revealed a triple rear camera setup.

Nothing has been finalized yet, but the camera configuration may differ in two of the upcoming OnePlus 7 models.

Sony IMX 586 48MP Sensor

While the camera configuration continues to be contradictory, it’s sure that the primary camera will include the current best 48-megapixel sensor. There are no data available about the secondary and front camera specs, but the smartphone will equip the Sony IMX 586 sensor as its primary shooter.

If there’s a triple camera setup, the 48MP primary shooter will couple with a wide angle sensor and a telephoto lens.

Speakers, In-Display Fingerprint Sensor & USB Support

Both the OnePlus 7 models: standard OnePlus 7 and the Pro model, OnePlus 7 Pro will come with Dual Speakers. Both the speakers will stay down below to offer a more enhanced sound experience. Both the smartphones will come with USB 3.1 support.

Also, the OnePlus 7 models will come with in-display optical fingerprint sensors like its predecessor.

Battery & Fast Charging

OnePlus smartphones come with proprietary fast charging capabilities. Unveiled last time with OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, the upcoming OnePlus 7 smartphones too will come with WARP Charge, the newly refined Dash Charge with more fast juicing capabilities.

The battery too may see a jump to a larger 4,000mAH unit.

The latest teaser has OnePlus 7 in a subtle black colour. The company will be bringing different colour combinations this year with two black variants. The first one will have a glossy finish known as Mirror Black, while the other one will have matte finish, the very popular Midnight Black variant.

OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro India launch will happen soon after (maybe the next day, May 15) the global launch in Bengaluru.
