All OnePlus 7 Leaks & Rumours | OnePlus 7 Leaks

Here’sa complete roundup of all the rumours and leak around OnePlus 7 / OnePlus 5G smartphone.

Sliding Front Camera

OnePlus 7 is expected to ditch the notch for its upcoming flagship. The latest design will have a full-screen front panel with a sliding front camera module on top of the smartphone. The sliding front camera will house in the necessary sensors including the front snapper.

Full Screen No-Notch Display

The upcoming OnePlus flagship will come with a full-screen display with no notch, similar to what we saw on Vivo Nex last year. If OnePlus 7 or the OnePlus 5G smartphone will come with the alleged display technology, it will have the highest screen-to-body ratio ever for a OnePlus smartphone.

48MP Sony Sensor

The OnePlus 7 will feature Sony’s IMX 586 camera sensor. The sensor has been in the news since its arrival, and is a part of a streak of flagships. The upcoming OnePlus flagship with the Sony 48MP sensor will make it the first OnePlus smartphone to come with a 48-megapixel primary rear camera.

Rear Triple Camera Setup

Other OnePlus 5G smartphone camera leaks hint at a triple rear camera module. The latest OnePlus device may sport a triple rear camera setup like Oppo R17 Pro or upcoming Vivo V15 Pro. If you remember, OnePlus 6T was an Oppo R17 Pro inspired device. So the triple camera setup may debut for a OnePlus device with OnePlus 7.

10X Optical Zoom Camera

Another rumoured OnePlus 7 camera feature is its updated optical zoom. The upcoming OnePlus flagship has been alleged to come with a similar zoom feature like Oppo’s 10X optical zoom camera. Currently OnePlus 6T features a 2X optical zoom covering a wide dynamic range.

5G Support

OnePlus have already confirmed this feature, that it will launch a 5G-compatible smartphone in 2019. The upcoming OnePlus device is expected to be a 5G smartphone, and not the the OnePlus 7. The OnePlus 7 may not actually support 5G because of the cost. Though, many reports cite that the company will launch a 5G variant of OnePlus 7 at MWC, and then the standard OnePlus 7 variants later.

HDR Support

All the upcoming OnePlus smartphones are rumoured to come with HDR support. Even the Netflix HDR support is being awaited on OnePlus devices for long. HDR support on OnePlus 7 will allow a higher quality streaming experience with better color production and more-accurate video streaming.

10GB RAM

OnePlus already launched a 10GB McLaren Edition OnePlus 6T smartphone a couple of months back. OnePlus was the first smartphone company to offer top RAM-enabled mainstream devices. On OnePlus 7, the company is expected to offer standard 10GB RAM models along with a special 5G OnePlus smartphone.

Snapdragon 855

The upcoming OnePlus flagship is going to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. Recently unveiled, Snapdragon 855 is the latest flagship SoC from Qualcomm built on a 7nm process. Snapdragon 855 will also help the OnePlus 5G smartphone offer 5G capabilities and support.

Warp Charge 30

An upgrade over its signature Dash Charge, OnePlus recently unveiled Warp Charge 30 technology with OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition. More powerful than its Dash Charge, the Warp Charge 30 offers faster charging technology. Warp Charge 30 is expected on all the upcoming OnePlus 7 variants and the OnePlus 5G smartphone.
