A new case leak has allegedly confirmed the presence of a pop-up selfie camera and triple rear cameras on OnePlus 7. The much-touted OnePlus flagship has been in the news since last year

The latest case and listing leak confirm much of the rumored specs.

Expected to go official in May, every year OnePlus remains in the limelight all throughout the year. The upcoming OnePlus 7 similarly has been a part of the rumor mill since OnePlus 6T arrived in October.

OnePlus 7 is going to come with the famous pop-up camera to offer a full view panoramic screen. The first pop-camera phone was from Vivo, the OnePlus sister company.

OnePlus devices have previously been inspired by Oppo’s R series phones. Now case leak has confirmed the presence of a pop-up selfie camera, hinting at a similar design as Vivo NEX. The pop-up selfie camera has been a signature feature on a number of Vivo and Oppo devices.

OnePlus 7 will come with an edge-to-edge display without any notch and a pop-selfie camera. OnePlus 7 may use the screen sound casting tech like Vivo NEX to use the entire display as a speaker.

Now OnePlus with a pop-up selfie camera for a full-view screen is no surprise, given OnePlus’ track on drawing inspiration from its sister companies for design technology.

OnePlus may also use a dual curved edge display like Samsung S10 flagship.

The smartphone has been leaked for a number of times now. Even the 360-degree OnePlus 7 video render leaked the complete body and design. The pop-up selfie camera will now allow OnePlus 7 will more screen space and higher screen to body ratio without any notch.

OnePlus 6 was the first smartphone to come with a first generation standard notch. OnePlus 6T saw an upgrade with a water drop notch and in-display fingerprint sensor.

The previous UK retailer listing renders revealed that OnePlus 7 will come with the latest Qualcomm flagship chip: Snapdragon 855. The latest case renders now confirms that the OnePlus flagship has a cut for primary triple-rear cameras arranged vertically in the middle, just like OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T.

There’s no cut-out for any fingerprint sensor. So, OnePlus 7 again include the same in-display optical fingerprint sensor as the OnePlus 6T.

There’s a cut-out on the top as well. It’s for the pop-up selfie. The smartphone will probably support face unlock as well. Recently Vivo unveiled a 32MP front sensor with Vivo V15 Pro, inside the pop-up machine.

So the same camera sensor may make its way into upcoming OnePlus 7 flagship or the same 16MP sensor. OnePlus 7 run Snapdragon 855 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage.

OnePlus 7 will come with a 6.5-inch AMOLED panoramic Quad HD+ display. Coming to optics, OnePlus 7 will come with a triple rear camera setup comprising of a 48-megapixel primary sensor, 20-megapixel secondary sensor and a third 16-megapixel depth sensor.

Up front, the smartphone may use the same 16-megapixel inside the pop-up snapper, or an upgraded 32MP sensor. The battery also may see an upgrade to 4,000mAh battery with 44W Warp superfast charging support.
