With just a week left to 2018, this year has been a roller coaster ride for smartphone companies in India. From new companies joining into big brands losing their fanfare, things have changed lately.

As we move into the last week of the year, we have some top smartphones trending this week on the list.

From the upcoming OnePlus 5G smartphone to Xiaomi’s first Go smartphone and Redmi Pro 2 to Lenovo Z5 Pro GT, it’s been a week led by these companies. So, lets directly jump into this week’s trending smartphones:

OnePlus 5G Smartphone

A mysterious picture of a OnePlus smartphone was leaked from a meeting where OnePlus CEO Pete Lau was found holding a device, expected to be the next OnePlus device. With a circular camera back and a fresh new design, the leaked photo is being expected as the upcoming OnePlus 5G smartphone.

Realme U1

The recently launched Realme U1 has received a flat price cut as a part of the new year celebrations. The offer is valid till January 2, and you can grab an instant discount of Rs 1,500 instant discount, applicable to both the variants of the Realme U1.

Redmi Go Smartphone

A mysterious Redmi smartphone has been recently certified, expected to be the rumored Redmi Go. The smartphone is being expected as an entry-level stock Android smartphone. The smartphone will not use Xiaomi’s MIUI with specifications like 1GB RAM and 8GB storage, expected to be unveiled in Singapore in early 2019.

Moto G7 Series

The seventh generation Moto G series is all set to debut at the MWC 2019. The upcoming Moto G7 series will include Moto G7, G7 Plus, G7 Play, and G7 Power, and recently all the designs of each smartphone have been leaked in full glory. From standard to water drop notches, all the new G7 smartphones will feature some latest designs and specs.

Redmi 7 Pro

The upcoming Redmi 7 series was leaked recently. It will include three smartphones, Redmi 7A, Redmi 7 and Redmi 7 Pro. Among the three, Redmi 7 Pro was leaked with some photoshopped pictures. Later we found all the pictures of the phone with a water drop notch and the retail box to be fake.

Redmi Pro 2

Xiaomi will launch its mysterious 48MP device this January, and its Redmi Pro 2. President Bin shared a picture of a phone on Twitter with 48MP written on it. Xiaomi is yet to officially confirm Redmi Pro 2 and it’s also being rumored to be the first phone from Xiaomi to have a punch-hole display like the Honor View 20 or Nova 4. The smartphone will use Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 675.

Lenovo Z5 Pro GT

The upcoming Lenovo Z5 Pro GT with the newly announced Snapdragon 855 has beaten iPhone XS and OnePlus 6T scores on AnTuTu. The Lenovo Z5 GT Pro managed to score 368,480 in AnTuTu, much more than any new generation iPhone or Kirin 980 and even the previous generation Snapdragon 845 powered phones. Lenovo Z5 Pro GT is the first smartphone with Snapdragon 855, and also the first phone to come with 12GB RAM.

Micromax N11 & N12

The yesteryear Indian brand Micromax is back again in the limelight. The company has launched two new budget smartphones: N11, N12 in India starting at Rs 8,999. The Micromax N11 is priced at Rs 8,999 featuring 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage while the other Micromax N12 is priced at Rs 9,999 offering 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Both offer MediaTek’s Helio P22 chipset, 18:9 widescreen displays, dual cameras, 4,000mAh battery and more.
