We are in the last month of the year, and it’s been a week of some exciting launches. From Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 to Nokia 8.1 to the special OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition, top smartphones ruled the internet.

Also, Redmi 7 series has received a certification, hinting at an imminent launch.

Meanwhile, Xiaomi is reducing its prices due to the growing competition in the Indian market. The company has reduced the prices of three smartphones in last one week: Poco F1, Redmi 6A and Mi A2.

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2

Taiwanese smartphone company Asus again blasted the Indian market with a mid-budget smartphone. The new Max M2 Pro is available at a starting price of 12,999 with Snapdragon 660, dual cameras, notched display, 5,000mAh battery and much more. Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 will probably kill the market for current mid-range bestsellers Realme 2 Pro and Redmi Note 6 Pro.

OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition

OnePlus launched its special McLaren Edition this week. The new OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition comes with a new orange-laded design, 10GB RAM, Superfast Warp Charging and much more. OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition has been launched in India for a price of Rs 50,999.

Asus Zenfone Max M2

The other smartphone Asus launched on the same day was Asus Zenfone Max M2. The second generation Asus Zenfone Max smartphone packs in a Snapdragon 632 chipset, dual cameras, 4,000mAh battery, notched display and a metal built. The Asus Zenfone Max M2 will be available in India at a starting price of just Rs 9,999.

Xiaomi Redmi 6A

In India, the price of Redmi 6A has been slashed owing to the growing competition. The budget segment currently has some of the top smartphones backed by flagship specs. From now on, Redmi 6A will be available at Rs 5,999 for the 2GB/16GB variant and Rs 6,999 for the 2GB/32GB variant.

Xiaomi Play

Xiaomi is working on a new budget gaming phone, tipped to launch on the Christmas eve. The smartphone is being dubbed as Xiaomi Play, which reportedly will be pitched against Honor Play. The company already has a premium gaming phone: Black Shark Helo. The upcoming Xiaomi affordable gaming phone could be a rebranded Poco F1 with some changes, expected to launch on December 24.

Nokia 8.1

The flagship Nokia 8.1 has been launched in India at a price of Rs 26,999 backed by Zeiss branded dual cameras, 6.18-inch PureDisplay and Android Pie out of the box. A successor to the Nokia 7 Plus, the new Nokia 8.1 sports a full-screen display, an all-glass design on the out, dual cameras and the latest Android 9 Pie under Android One.

Honor View 20

Huawei sub-brand Honor is bringing its second generation View smartphone, Honor View 20 later this month. Honor View 20 is all set to become the first smartphone in the world to come with an in-display front camera. It will have a punch-hole display and the 48MP Sony IMX 586 camera at the back. The official launch is on December 26, all set to take on Samsung Galaxy A8s.
