Poco F1 Permanent Price Cut; Honor View 20 Is World’s 1st In-Screen Camera Smartphone

The bestselling entry-premium Xiaomi Poco F1 is now available at a price under 20,000 rupees. The base variant with 64GB storage has received a permanent price cut of Rs 1,000.
Poco F1 was available at a starting price of Rs 20,999.
It’s now the cheapest smartphone in the World to use a Snapdragon 845 chipset. The company claimed to have sold over 7 lakh units of Poco F1 in India. In another news, Honor has announced its own very-first in-display camera phone: Honor View 20.
Poco F1 Now Available At 19,999
After a successful run and huge success, Xiaomi has decided to ramp up its Poco F1 sales. The base variant with 64GB storage and 6GB of RAM is now available at Rs 19,999 after a permanent price cut of 1,000 rupees.
The base variant of Xiaomi Poco F1 was previously available at Rs 20,999.
The new price is now effective. Poco F1 is available online via Mi Store (India) and Flipkart, and also through Mi Preferred offline retail stores.
Xiaomi Poco F1: Rs 1,000 Permanent Price Cut On All Variants
Launched in September, the Poco F1 was initially available at a starting price tag of Rs 20,999. The base variant came with 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage. After the permanent price cut, the same base variant will now cost Rs 19,999.
Not only the base variant of Poco F1, but the other Poco F1 variants also received a permanent price cut.
The mid-level Poco F1 variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage is now available at Rs 22,999. While the top-end variant with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage with regular back is now priced at Rs 27,999.
All the Poco F1 variants now cost 1,000 rupees cheaper.
The special Poco F1 Armoured Edition with the Kevlar glass back has also received a price cut. Down from its original price of Rs 29,999, the Poco F1 Armoured Edition is now available at Rs 28,999.
Xiaomi Poco F1 is currently available in India in three color options: Graphite Black, Rosso Red, and Steel Blue. The new Poco F1 prices are now live, and the changed prices are effective on both Mi Store (India) and Flipkart.
Honor In-Display Camera Phone: Honor View 20 Announced
Even before Samsung and Oppo could launch its first in-display camera phones, Honor has announced its first, all set to launch a month later. Samsung will have its first in-display front camera phone: Galaxy A8S.
Oppo is also rumored to be working on its own first in-display front camera phone: Oppo R19.
Before the companies could bring their phones, Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has already announced its own to take on the new design technology.
The upcoming Honor View 20 will come with an all-view display and a cut-out camera hole. It’s the first Honor In-Display camera phone with a screen measuring less than 4.5mm in diameter on the top left side.
Honor View 20 is being rumored to use the industry’s first 48MP rear camera featuring Sony’s IMX 586 sensor. Initially Xiaomi Mi 9 was being tipped to be launching with the sensor first, but Honor’s official confirmation changes the cards here.
Honor View 20 is going to be a top end flagship smartphone priced in the entry premium category. It will feature Huawei’s very own Kirin 980 chipset with dual Neural Processing Unit.
Honor View 20 will be officially unveiled in Paris on January 22, with an imminent India launch.
