The Honor 10 Could Be A Better Smartphone Than OnePlus 6 & Mi MIX 2S!

OnePlus 6 is all set for a grand release today, but the most-anticipated Android flagship has competition waiting for it in India. OnePlus 6 will launch in the country tomorrow on May 17, but its Chinese counterpart has already launched a smartphone here which can give it a run for its money.
The Huawei sub-brand Honor has launched its AI-powered Android Flagship, Honor 10, in the country with some top-of-the-line specifications at an affordable price point. Launched just a day before, the Honor 10 will give a good fight to upcoming OnePlus 6 and other premium flagships like Mi MIX 2S, OnePlus 5T and Google Pixel 2 which are priced similarly.
Priced at Rs 32,999, the Honor flagship will be available exclusively on Flipkart starting from the midnight of May 16.

What Makes Honor 10 Special?
The affordable premium Android flagship will come with some advanced AI capabilities from the house of Huawei. The Honor 10 will borrow a lot from Huawei’s recently-launched premium flagship P20 Pro. The smartphone will come with a notch at the top of the display, inspired by the iPhone X.
Interestingly, Honor 10 will still feature a fingerprint sensor at the front with a slightly thick bezel at the bottom.
The smartphone has ultra-thin edges on both the sides and the top. At the bottom, Honor 10 will feature a second-generation ultrasonic fingerprint sensing module, where the smartphone can be unlocked even with a wet finger.

Honor has kept its commitment to crack the Indian smartphone market this year with better devices in every price segment, and Honor 10 is its new entry-premium segment flagship.
Design
The smartphone will come with a unibody, built around a metal frame with a glass front and back. Honor 10 sports an Aurora Glass design with Gorilla Glass protection on top, 3D curved glass on the back and 2.5D glass on sides.
Display
Honor 10 comes in an elongated 19:9 screen aspect ratio Full View display with an 86.2 percent screen-to-body ratio. It will sport a 5.84 inch Full HD+ LCD display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels.
Hardware & Storage
Under the hood, Honor 10 will get powered by Huawei’s in-house octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 970 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB onboard memory. The device memory cannot be further expanded.
Software
The Honor 10 will run the latest Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Huawei’s own EMUI 8.1 on top. The light Huawei bloatware is light and clean on top of the Android OS.
Camera
The smartphone will come with a dual camera setup at the back with a primary 16MP sensor coupled with a 24MP secondary sensor with a f/1.8 aperture. Up front, Honor 10 sports a 24MP single sensor.
Honor 10 will come with the latest ‘AI Camera’ with AI 2.0 technology which will help to improve mobile photography. From Huawei’s own AI 2.0 technology the cameras will come with 22 real-time scene, object and face recognition.
Connectivity
The phone will come with dual-SIM connectivity and will support all 4G LTE bands with 4G VoLTE. It has a dedicated 3.5mm audio jack with a USB Type-C connector, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, WiFi and all other required sensors on board. Honor 10 also supports a 7 channel audio with its Hi-Fi 7-channel audio chip.
Battery
Honor 10 will be powered by a 3,400 mAh battery with quick-charging technology support. The smartphone will come with Huawei’s Super Charge support where Honor 10 can be charged up to 50 percent in just 25 minutes.
