The OnePlus 7 concept model is here, and the latest leak is hinting at an in-display camera and triple rear cameras. The upcoming OnePlus flagship is being speculated to be heavily inspired by Oppo R19.

OnePlus 6T launched roughly a couple of weeks back, and we are already here discussing OnePlus 7.

While it has already been confirmed by the company that a new flagship brand will be launched for 5G, confusion persists regarding 5G support.

Except for 5G, there is lot more to talk about. From an in-display camera to rear tri-camera setup, OnePlus is set to break some barriers again.

OnePlus 7: In-Display Front Camera & Rear Tri Camera Setup

OnePlus 7 is going to take a lot from the upcoming Oppo R19. The same smartphone which is expected to be the first phone to come with an in-display camera technology. As OnePlus 6T took the same design as Oppo R17 Pro, expect the same to happen to OnePlus 7 as well.

OnePlus once again will come with a similar design as another Oppo R-series model, this time it’s Oppo R19.

The leaked concept model of OnePlus 7 hints at an in-display single sensor front camera. While at the back, we have three cameras stacked in the middle in a vertical manner. The leaked numbers show a 24-megapixel primary sensor, 12-megapixel secondary sensor and a 8-megapixel depth sensor.

OnePlus 7: The Notch-Less Beast!

The leaked images show how OnePlus 7 may come with a complete bezel-less display without any notch or secondary iteration. The smartphone will have an in-display single sensor front camera with an in-display fingerprint sensor saving room for an edge to edge notch-less display.

OnePlus 7 is expected to offer a screen-to-body ratio of as much as 95 percent or more. Currently, the highest is being held by Mi MIX 3 at 93.4 percent.

The OnePlus 7 will feature an Optic AMOLED display, which may come with a Quad HD+ resolution this time. If not, then it will come with the same FHD+ display as OnePlus 6T. Up front, the smartphone is expected to sport a 24-megapixel front-facing in-display camera.

Will OnePlus Support 5G?

The design render says OnePlus 7 will come with 5G support. The company says that the upcoming OnePlus smartphone will support the 5G connectivity, but it has been confusing which one: OnePlus 7 or a new OnePlus series smartphone?

There has been reports that OnePlus may launch another smartphone series supporting 5G. The 5G OnePlus phone is said to much expensive in an all-new lineup, which may be unveiled at the MWC 2019.

While the OnePlus is expected to come with the next generation Qualcomm flagship chipset, which evidently will support 5G. As we earlier reported, 5G support will make OnePlus 7 expensive, and thus the company may launch an all-new smartphone under another series.

So, either of the two will happen, OnePlus 7 may come at a higher price, which is unlikely, or the company may launch a new smartphone under a separate series.

Three Rear Cameras & Bigger Battery

While the 5G support has already been confirmed by company, the recent leak shows that OnePlus 7 has a rear tri-camera setup backed by a bigger battery.

At the back, it will have a tri camera setup, a first time for any OnePlus smartphone.

As said, it will be a 24 megapixel, 12 megapixel and 8-megapixel triple rear camera combination supporting 4K slow motion videos. The battery is expected to big bigger again, this time a 4,150mAh unit backed by Dash Charge.
