Android 9 Pie Rolled Out For OnePlus 6, MIUI 10 For Redmi Note 5 Pro!

Within just a couple of months of the official launch, OnePlus has now started to roll out the stable version of the latest Android 9 Pie. Till now, the OnePlus 6 users have been using Android 9 Pie on Open Beta programme.
The final stable version is out, and will be available to OP6 users in batches.
On the other side of world, Xiaomi has also rolled out the Android 8.1 Oreo based MIUI 10 update to the Redmi Note 5 Pro users in the country.
Android 9 Pie On OnePlus 6: Top Features
The newly rolled out Android 9 Pie update for OnePlus 6 will see some nifty upgrades. To start with, the Android Pie on OnePlus 6 is based on OxygenOS. It has an all new UI with the Android Pie signature gesture control to offer a seamless Android bezel-less experience.
Gesture Navigation allows users to control their phone without any on-screen buttons. Also, OnePlus has included its own gesture navigation interface, which first came with OnePlus 5T.
The Android 9 Pie update on OnePlus 6 includes an all new Do Not Disturb (DND) mode with advanced setting options. Among the changes, you will be getting a new feature which includes a text notification mode and a notification for third-party calls.
The accent color customization from the Android 9 Pie Open Beta version has now made it to the stable version as well.
OnePlus 6 will also get the Adaptive Battery technology and a new Gaming Mode 3.0. This Adaptive Battery feature uses AI to learn how you use your phone. As a result, it will optimize the apps and services you rarely use and the device will focus on the apps you use the most.

Android Pie will be rolled out in stages and VPN method is not going to work on OnePlus 6 now. VPN will be pushed later based on your specific region.
Other OnePlus Devices Will Get Android Pie Update
The existing OnePlus devices like OnePlus 5T, 5, 3 and 3T will receive the Android 9 Pie as well. The Android Pie update is going to push to these devices in stages. OnePlus has done a pretty good job with security updates and version upgrades.
The company has been able to deliver software updates from time to time.
OnePlus is updating all older devices to Android Pie which launched up to two years back.
The company has ensured that all OnePlus users around the globe will get to enjoy the latest Android and its features. OnePlus did not reveal the dates for the update, but it expected to arrive by early 2019.
Redmi Note 5 Pro Gets MIUI 10
Xiaomi has finally rolled out the MIUI 10 for Redmi Note 5 Pro based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The company is now working on Android 9.0 Pie now, and the MIUI 10 global beta program for Android 9 Pie will be launched soon as well.
The other Xiaomi devices to receive the first batch of global MIUI 10 update are Mi Mix 2, Xiaomi Mi 5 and Redmi Y2.
Search for the Xiaomi Forum Page which enlists the build number. Get the MIUI 10.0.1.0.OEIMIFH, where the Fastboot is 2.5GB in size. If you go for the recovery ROM update, it is sized at 1.5GB.
Xiaomi will be rolling out the latest MIUI 10 update in batches to the Note 5 Pro users.
